Can't open glass door

I'm trying to open the glass door for the Star Wars pachinko machine, but it won't budge. I can turn the key left and right with no problems, but when I turn it left to open the glass door, it will not open. Is there any other latch or anything I need to do? I need to access the speakers so I can install volume control. I do hear the lock tumblers turning, but no go. Help?

Look at the back of the machine (lock side) as you turn the key to the left.
You should see the slide bar move up. If it's not broken back there, then as you turn the key, lift upwards on the door to try to get it unlatched. (if the tabs on the door are bent, it will be difficult to open)
My starwars was the same until I adjusted the door tabs.

I feel so dense right now...I see the larger slidebar, and the two "teeth" that open the door up, but as I turn it left, I'm not seeing anything but the smaller tumbler towards the bottom (directly facing the lock and key) move. If I can open this glass door, I will certainly find out why it was so difficult and modify. Does the key go ALL the way to the left, like it does to the right, or just a little ways? Thanks for your help so far...

It should turn the same amount right and left. Check and see if something behind is keeping the slide bar from moving all the way up. I'll go open up a machine take a picture for you.
(actually the bar moves downward to open the glass)

OK, here's a couple pics. Maybe it will help.

If you turn the key to the right and open the machine out of the frame.

Be careful the machine doesn't tip over!!

The first picture is the back of the lock (check to see if this is bent) and the lower door latch above it. (next to the spring)

The next one is the upper door latch. (top of machine)

And the last is what you'll see when you get the glass open (on the door)

Success! Thank you x1000! I can see why now. the "teeth" holding the door are bent in towards the machine. I'll just carefully adjust so I can open by key next time...Now to work on the volume , replace some burnt out lights and I am done! Thanks again!!!
