    Default Online Vendor List

I looked through the forum in the hopes of finding a comprehensive list of vendors for pachinko machines, but came up empty-handed. The next logical step, of course, was to stab a passerby with a wedge of cheese... but I skipped that step and decided to make a new list instead.

I'm not going to describe them outside of a word or two since I have first-hand experience with none of these sellers. But I still figure that this list will be a good starting point for those new to the game.

WARNING: Due to editing permission on this forum, this list is only as current as the post date.

    -------

PachiTalk - Shop local from memberslike arbycoffee here and on the auction site. Just ask around and post in request threads.

Imatrix Canada - A dealer based in Canada that seems to ship reliably to mixed reviews.

Slot-pachinko.com - U.S. dealer based in Texas. Seems to stand behind product.

Stealth and Gameroom Warehouse - Sometimes has pachinko (use search), but mainly pachislos.

CF Export - Not actually a store, per se, but a well-recommended one-man importer. Contact the e-mail for a list of current machines and prices.

eBay - I don't need to link for this one. Just sign up, search, bid, and pray. Actually... there's a pretty good database of eBay sellers in this forum. Just search for the name here before you confirm a bid.

    -------

That's it for now. I know there are more out there (and UK members need their own list), so please add to this in replies.

    Cheers!
Currently Own: Nothing. I play mostly online now.

But doesn't tend to be very responsive to questions from potential customers. That is why I have not yet purchased from him. He has, or had a Looney Tunes Pachinko I have been Eyeballing, but he has never responded to the questions I have asked.

IMO: Hiro and Arby are top notch...

Don't for get about http://www.tokenslot.com, I have picked up a couple of machines from them in the past. Good service, and communication. My only complaint is that they use dummy keys, and just hollow out the lock cylinder. They are a Pachislo only shop... The owner is also a member here I believe.

Hey, let's swap cells and frames and sell them all as "rare". Great idea!

My message to him on eBay:

"Being a pachinko dealer, you KNOW that's not "rare"... It's simply a Sankyo machine in a Bisty frame. I exchanged an Evangelion cell with a Star Wars cell and now have a "rare" red framed Star Wars too. Good luck with the auction anyway..."

Should I or should I not buy from Pachinko Pagoda? I found a pachinko on e-bay from them and would like to purchase it. What if you are at work and the machine is delivered and you are not home? Do they leave at you front door?

That is true... Hiro does do things for his good customers. How many dealers would drive from LA to Fresno to personally help you repair a machine that UPS damaged. Not many dealers would do that no matter how much you buy from them. I have purchased 11 machines from Hiro in the last four months though. I had him bring me 007 and another machine that a friend wanted along with some balls and trays since he was coming. I did give him gas money even though he never asked for it. Hiro is Awesome!

Dave at pachinko pagoda got back by e-mail within a hour and he has been answering every question I have thrown at him. His cost seems a bit high but I will look into Hiro because of all the great reviews on doing business with him from other members.

I think you shook him up a bit. I just looked at his auction for the Star Wars red frame machine, and it no longer says rare anywhere in the auction.

Yeah, but he's still overcharging as if it were rare. In any other collection, a mismatch/non-original part lowers the value rather than increase the value.

My first purchase from Hiro caught me off guard when he asked what color frame I wanted (at the same price). I asked what color was original, and went with that. Since then, I've tried not to collect the same color frame, sticking with the original color when possible. I have a Star Wars in a red frame, and a Super Stadium in a yellow frame (both non-original).

If Dave can sell it to an unsuspecting customer and get the inflated price, more power to him. It won't be me however...

Yeah, Agreed! I like the original frame as well. I purchased the 007 from Hiro, and I don't think it's in the original frame. I think the original frame was Blue or Purple, but I'm not sure.

I would like to find the correct frame.

Mine came in the standard white frame. The one Arby had video of was in a purple frame. Is yellow the correct color?

I got my yellow frame from Hiro, but I think it was from an Indy or other cell. I have it on my Super Stadium, which was originally in a white frame (but was a lone cell when spotted in his warehouse). Super Stadium looks good in a yellow frame, as it has the words "Super Stadium" in yellow, as well as many of the graphics. I'm trying to visualize 007 in yellow, and all that comes to mind is "ewww..." Purple would look cool IMHO.
