    Default Star Wars Pachinko help

Any information on the starwars pachinko ?
i notice there are four red lights on the left with a flashing cross and circle , can anyone explain what this means ? i know it lights up if it lands on the circle ...
Also can anyone tell me when the chance button comes into play ?
I have noticed when you get a ( what i call a tombstone round ) when the middle number is being pulled by a rope ( only way i can explain ) when the ball passes the spinner does this determine the speed ? seems like it goes faster when the balls pass the spinner
any help on this would be greatly appreciated
also noticed when the tiefighters go past the screen you can hit them with the chance button ( or is it random ? )

    thanks

    Hello,

The for red lights are gained when the ball passes through the "go" sensor. it's located at the waist of C3PO(if that is the cell you have). once you start getting these lights lit, the X and O start flashing back and fourth. When it stops on the X (or O...I can't recall) the flippers under the center start hole will open for a split second. Very rare during normal play, but during a fever countdown 100, you will see this is important and will cause the flippers to stay open for about 2 seconds.

Also, During the movie sequences like the rope going around the center figure and pulling it down, those are called "reaches". The balls do not influence these scenes, so you could sit back and enjoy the graphics. This is also true with the speeder bike scene, trench battle, or just the symbols on the screen trying to match up.

The chance button comes when Darth Vader tries to interfear with normal play. You will see him and here him breathing. If he interupts, then you can get a chance to have him use his lightsaber to hit at the three symbols for a match, or play a match (Memory) game.
Another Chance button is a space battle. Try to shoot Vaders ship down. Difficult, but fun.

    Have Fun

And even then (when using the Chance to shoot down Darth), I'm not so sure there's too much skill involved. The machine lets you win when it feels like it as long as your firing at Darth.

Thanks for the help ! Anyone have any more information to share on this machine ?
i'm sure when the tiefighters fly past you can shoot them with a well timed chance hit... or is it just me getting excited ?

I'm really not convinced the timing of your Chance button press is that critical. I mean, you probably have to hit it and it probably has to be close to the right time, but I doubt there's much skill involved. It's still based on odds programmed into the machine.

You should be able to find the manual if you do a search. I did a quick search and found one of the manuals for the Star Wars machine. I've also previously seen one which gives you more information on how the game works (but I can't find it at the moment).

When your matching characters and the tie fighters fly by, that's just a sign that your chances of matching on that spin has increased. There is no control to shoot those tie fighters...The ship will fire by itself, and maybe hit or mis. If it does hit, then you will match two symbols, and go into a reach for the third symbol (speeder bike...trench...etc.) Only when the chance button is lit, do you have any control of what happens on the screen, and even that is minimal.

I was wondering when the research center will open again? I would like to download the manual and brochures for the Star Wars pachinko machine. If possible, any other links I could find this information on the net as well. TIA.

The key that came with the unit...is it supposed to be so difficult to open the front and glass door? I have only been able to turn to the right once, and haven't been able to turn it at all to the left.

Most of my machines are fairly easy to open, however my red Bisty frame is very difficult. Try rocking the frame side to side while you're turning the key to see if that helps. I haven't looked into my difficult one yet though...

Is your machine in a cabinet, or does it still have the wood feet attached? They get much easier to open once installed in cabinets. I assume this is due to the frame flexing under the weight of the machine.
