Default Los Angeles Sunday Swap Meet Pachinko Sightings

1st Report in a long time, mainly because I haven't found anything lately.
Went to the Long Beach Antique Flea Market this morning, Threee machines offered for Sale
two Vintage Nishijin machines one missing the top payout pocket and one with a dark brown playfield, looked like smoke stains really bad smoke stains. No Balls included a bargain at $100 each... needless to say I passed on these two.

Third Machine - I really tried to resist, but I am weak...

    Mizuho
Nice clean playfield, all pieces on the back of the machine are present and accounted for. Light rust on chrome

Looks like a Baloon trip around the world is the theme, USA, France, ITA
Alas the machine did not come with any balls but for $15.00 I can't complain, (the wife can, but I can't) actually at this point she just looks and shakes her head.

So even though I got a nice machine for a good price, I have to start over on my thearapy, 4 months without buying a pachinko, and now I back to square one...Oh well such is life

the front of it looks real sweet and the price is great . maybe change the payout lights to 3 vdc LED then you can light it with only 2 AA batteries.
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS

Looks like a great machine. Tell your wife that buying these and fixing them up is your thearapy. LOL

Buying - she does not mind
Restoring as therapy she does not mind
Adding more machines to my collection because I don't want to sell them is where she just shakes her head.
She know that there is about a 97% chance that any new machine will live with us for at least 6 months. So as soon as Star Trek gets a little more affordable I'll buy her one and then she will be part of the dark side

She was never a fan of Pink Panther, seems her younger sister loved it and got to watch it all the time when they were younger. She did play thunderbirds for a little while but Star Trek is her favorite show so I know she would like it.
