I just posted the promo DVD video for Space Invaders on YouTube:

Give you a good look at what it does (can't wait for this machine to become available!). It does have left/right buttons on it, so you do get to control a ship at some point... But I think it might just be a one-shot type thing, not actually 'playing' SI...
