    Default pachinko operation manual

Does anyone have or can they direct me to a moder pachinko operation manual? I am interested in a operation manual for the LOTR game but any modern pachinko in better than nothing. I was hopping to see some schematics particularly about the electronics

    Dear Jim,

We have something in the works which will be a generic modern pachinko guide which will touch upon game setup, playing and troubleshooting the machine.

As to your specific request for schematics, the Japanese manufacturers don't make them available to the public and very few, if any, find their way into the USA. Some of the major used pachinko game sellers in the US may have them, but we doubt they would be available to us.

The game board schematics could possibly be derived through reverse engineering, but the chip programming could be difficult to read and that is the key to the game programming. A lot of security and encryption goes into these games since they are associated with their gambling industry, even though the Japanese prefer to call them amusement devices only.

Check out the Pachinko Museum section for links to the manufacturer's site and more information on LOTR.

    Jim,
Check out the Pachinko Lincs in the forum, there is a SANKYO manual, gen. but might help some.
