    Default 007 hell

ok iv sorted all the past issuses some of you knew i had with 007 but im stuck with one that i cant cure when the machine came in it had the option of swapping between modern and clasic mode with a press of the chance button as long as there was no balls in play and no spins banked

well having entered the programing mode to sort another issue i now cant get the option to swap between modern and classic to work no matter what i do i have even left the machine without power for a couple of weeks to see if a real hard reset would work and it hasent nor has a reset off the main button and im at a loss has any one come across this or got any ideas

there is 2 program modes for 007 one entered by turning the machine off holding the reset button and a button on the back of the main bord (this is the one that stopped me swapping modes) and another that changes the odds (yest the first machine you can do this with ) and also alters a few other things and this is entered by turning off the machine and holding the reset button and the chance button while restarting the machine

any help or ideas realy welcome as im loosing what little sanity i have left with this machine

Sounds like you need the manual (that black and white manual like we see on YJA every now and then). Nothing up right now, but you might have Kia message a couple of the people selling manuals to see if they have/can get one.

The guides that Arby has scanned and posted in the research center are just promotional material rather than programming guides. They tell you what the machine can do, and that it's got a fancy new settings menu (and a little about how to navigate in these menus), but they don't really give you any useful information about what these setting actually do.

Of course, if anyone can get me a scan of the actual cell manual (ie the B&W one), I can have a read of it and see if I can understand what it says about the various settings available, as this manual is likely to have the more useful information in it.

BTW according to the spec, there's no mention about changing the overall odds of the machine. The real time clock feature can be set to enable high probability modes being triggered at certain times. You can also adjust the probability of a reach hitting a fever during these high probability times, though it doesn't say whether this means that you're more likely to hit a fever from the same number of reaches, or if you'll just get a smaller number of reaches to give the same overall probability.

ahh my mistake on that part i thought the high probability mode basicaly was altering the odds so there was more chance of a fever thus altering the odds of winning

i will see if i can lay my hands on the b&w copy of the manual befor i lay my fist on ths cell

The fact that these machines have a hard reset function, indicates either flash memory or a battery back upped static memory. If the last is true, there should be a battery cell somewhere that you can unplug or short out.

Just an idle assumption of course

It appears that when you entered the programming mode, the changes you may have made to resolve another problem need to be undone. Then check to see if the switch starts working again. If it does, then you will have to find another way to resolve the other problem.
