Newbee with problems

Hello all
My name is Tom, I am 40 year old german pinball collector. I just got my first pachinko from a friend and it matches very good to my pinball machines.

But .. I think there is a little problem with my pachinko and it is hard to find help or informations within the internet. Maybe you folks can help me.

My pachinko is a POPEYE

and I have a problem with the mechanic releasing the winning balls.
When I get the machine the unit counting the winning balls makes bad noises. So I emtied the winning balls, checked the assembly and plugs and rebuild it. I think the system is, that a small motor moves forward and back if idle and goes around if balls are to spit out.

But if I fill up the storage all balls comes directly through. The little motor is going around all the time even I reset the machine by switching off and on.

Anyboda any idea what may the problem ?

since the motor was running id expect it's catching up on payouts and needs a hard reset

How to do a hard reset ? The guy I bought the machine from also told me that there might be in the memory that the machine has a lot to pay out and it therfor will take several fillings until it is "back again".

you should find a small push button near the power switch. turn off machine hold button and power up machine release button after 10 seconds. or just keep running balls through until it clears the memory 3-4000 balls usually.
