Well, honestly, a seller have to honor a contract, as the buyer have to honor a bid and pay in proper time.

Sellers requiered most of the time to be paid in 48 hours, but once they are paid, you can't have answer from many of them.

I've been told by a seller that i was harrassing him after I sent him 3 messages over two weeks, without success. He finally gave me as answer that he was busy, and don't have the time to reply to everyone. He wasn't enough busy to take my money.

I can understand that some sellers have many email, but you don't sell product if you don't want to do business with other people.

I don't go to a store, and expect that the seller will be available only when he see my face at the cash when I'm gonna pay.

I think that you was legitimate to expect a reply with a tracking number, or atleast not bull****ted with some stupid reasons.

I've been ripped off many time on Ebay, because I was giving time to the seller, not emailing him to know if my item was sent and look like an abusive buyer, to finally find after some weeks that the seller account has been canceled by Ebay, and I don't have any recourse to get my money back.

So now, when I by something on Ebay for exemple, I paid in the next minute I win the auction because I'm an efficient buyer, so the seller don't have to beg and hunt me to be paid, but expect the same efficiency from the seller.

got to admit tillion kinda the way i work i would like some kind of traking number or reply on expensive item within a couple of days at least then i know i stand a chance of getting the item i juat payed a couple of hundred pounds for not just sit and hope for 2 or 3 weeks wich makes clawing back the money harder if after 2 or 3 weeks you dont get an item or a reply

if some one promises you traking details and then you dont get them thats what makes me ask questions

same as if some one promises you a delivery date you would start to wonder where the item is

Steve is usualy pritty darn good like that iv only had to call him once and say er excuse me you said my machine would be here today where is it and he has chased it and found it has not been picked up by the courier and sent it out on the next batch

Like America, some states in Australia also have very restrictive gambling laws, so there could be problems in customs when the machine arrives. Now it's worth a vendor's time investigating this for their home country and deciding which states to sell to, but if the country is on the other side of the planet and you don't have the first idea where to find copies of the necessary regulations so you can check for yourself, it's easier to just not sell to the entire country.

The alternative is to put the responsibility on the customer for checking the legal situation. But customers are not always aware of laws like this, and I doubt that PayPal or the credit card company are going to side with the vendor after the machine is seized in customs and the customer wants their money back.

ive all so been messed about by steve and i knowware you are comeing from
hassle him and tell him to dish out more tokens and trays to makeup for it

That was not the end of it.

The other day I received an email advising that my money had been refunded yet again.

The reason given was that the 154 pound cost of shipping had gone up to 268 pounds, so they just refunded.

I had a few things to say and offered another 60 quid to meet half the alleged extra costs.

I repaid 300 quid (initial price was 240) and I am again waiting for the machine, however, so far I have no tracking details etc.

There are no problems as far as Australian Customs go in importing the machines. It's the states that have their own regulations and enforce them, however, they don't seem to bother.

I just bought my first pachinko from him, recieved it today, couldnt have asked for a better transaction. the Spheres did come loose in transit so there was lots of balls to find when opening the box.. but other than that.. Excellent.

I even recieved a free Ball Tray, i wasnt expecting that at all..

Ebay can be a great thing, or it can be hell on the nerves. It seems that this seller typically performs, but sometimes has issues with timliness or communication. On a $10 novelty item, it's not such a big deal. BUT, when you have more than $100 on the line, such disrespect is allowed to be met with more anxiety. In this case, the buyer would have been OK with delays as long as communication and documentation were readily available. Runarounds, bad phone numbers, bad email addresses, etc only complicate the issue. This whole transaction is very unfortunate, but it reiterates the problems associated that happen in this new age of cyber selling and buying.

i just recived a machine off steve yesterday was a quick painless operaion turn up on friday just like he said nice service just need to get a copy of the manual as it wernt in the box but its no biggie nice frendly person to chat to as i dident have a clue what i was buying he talked me through so i brought it.

machine turend up clean as whisle one of the led lights behind reel 3 had come lose in shipping poped it back in started it up sweet as a nut,

will recomend to buy off him he might be a bit busy at times but we all got to work,

I also bought one machine from 777thHeaven before and was delivered pretty fast... so no bad things there. But i think his reputation went down a little bit... can't guess why, but maybe it is more the shipping to outside of UK thats the problem.

I dont know 100% sure if my vendor ships to australia, but he does ship outside of europe i think... so i would try to ask him.

I bought 2 machines from him (lord of the rings pachislo and the ring pachinko). The first one i received couple of days later and the other he is bringing by my house tomorrow. So i have to honestly say that i have nothing but the highest regard for Jan From Dragonfly.

Also the lord of the rings i received well packaged, with i think no possibility for damage... and the machine looked like new... no scratches or nothing... really great. Offcourse it is no guarantee that all machines are like new... but i have only the best of things to say about DRAGONFLY. So if you are thinking about buying a Pachinko, or Pachislo... and you are stuck with local vendors... i suggest to try DRAGONFLY. He is also a member here... so with your purchase tell him you are a pachitalk member... who knows you get something extra...
