If I knew then what I know now, I'd have been a very cynical 18 year old...

Glad to hear that you received your DDK and are having fun, Slotter. I'm still waiting on mine. According to FedEx it should be here on the 27th. I did take delivery of "Time Cross" though  ! I tested it out for a few minutes before my wife got home (since I'm giving it to her for Christmas) and I noticed that the first reel sticks periodically :-( . It also makes some noise when spinning. I put an e-mail into Pachinko Pallace/Grandview. Hopefully it's not a big problem, and it's something I can troubleshoot myself. Have fun with your DDK!

the reel might have popped loose in shipping, try putting some light pressure on the reels to see if they are seated.

I sent one to a guy not long ago, and when he got it the middle reel wouldn turn. the light behind it came loose in shipping and was stoppign the reel. Id pull out the reel or reel cage and spin it by hand until you see what is causing the reel to stick!

OK, I believe I discovered the problem. I suspected that the reel was rubbing on the door of the machine, and that suspicion was confirmed when I noticed evidence of a rub. After checking the alignment of the door via the adjustable hinges I looked at the reel cage (thank you Davis!). I discovered that the left side of the reel cage was out of its slot and that a screw from that side is missing. I put the reel cage back into place and now just need to get a replacement screw to keep it there. I tested it out and it works great! No noise or sticking left reel  . Thanks for the great tips!!

A pointer all screws are metric, which can in some places be hard to find.
