I've seen this frame style before on YJA, it's the Stellar, by Sankyo. I'm sure they either sold the frames to Sammy or licensed it.

hard to say value... I would never ever consider paying 2500 for a machine from that era.. hell for me it would have to been near perfict to spen anything over 100 for it... my 2 cents

Lol...ok, would you know i can buy RD2D Like the one jhondo406 has got, it a lovley machine, its very hard to get them in the uk, can get the normal fruit machinrs and video, But cant get the Pachinko's over here, ive got my sammmmy gao gao kids, i though it was worth alot of money... coz its old 1979 i was told.

The original R2D2 Star Wars pachinko is quite a popular and fun machine, I have one too, there were quite a few of them sold in the UK as there was a Vendor that used to import them here, sadly that vendor is no longer trading in pachinkos or Pachislos.

I believe the Gao Gao Kids model dates from the 90's probably 1992 or 1993 judging by the frame discussed in this thread, does this one look exactly like yours??

I have never seen a pachinko sell over here in the UK for anywhere near $2,500!!

The most I have ever paid is probably £200 to £300 each (including delivery) and that was back in 2006, Although pachinkos are harder to find over here, Ebay is probably your best place to find them or other members may have some for sale!!

From what I've seen advertised sankyo's Star wars seems to be the most common machine in the Uk. I think there is still one for sale on gumtree for £275 in Scotland. I think 6 in the past year on eBay. Price is hard. There were 5 machines for sale at £150 dating from early 2000 but didn't sell. Also there is a woody woodpecker for grabs at £200 but no takers for that either. My vintage nishijin 1971 I brought for £20 this year. It might sell for higher in Japan, but their prices are completely different to the rest of the world Why not start an introductory thread

ive checked on ebay waste of time none in the uk, i can get them from the us, the Only Problem is the Post , if i buy a machine let say $400 it Cost almost $500 to send it... any dealers in the uk, im checking on gumtree but no joy ...
