No Credit\Autopay Option

I have just ventured into the world of Pachslo and am loving it. However I am very newbie and would like to ask two questions. My machine is a Super Reno Type A manufactured by Yamasa

1. Machine will allow me to bet 1 2 or 3 lines by coin or credit (pay lines light up) but will not allow me to spin reels unless three are bet.

2. The instruction say I can hold down the credit\payout button to switch between credit payout and auto payout. However the modes will not change. I have held the button down for 5 to 10 seconds while the machine was idle and that does not work.

The research I have done so far says that this is the way the machines are programmed. Can I change these?????

it sounds like you have a max bet machine, 3 coins to spin.

some machines stay in credit mode only, you should have an led on front that shows 0 or amount of tikens put in.

that is what changes to blank led when you press payout button.

Nope. You can't change these things. Most machines are now Max Bet and require 3 tokens per spin. Any serious player would always bet 3 anyway, so this is not a serious limitation.

Only some machines let you go into an auto payout mode. The instructions that came with your machine were probably generic and not specifically for your machine. I found that it is actually best if the machine will NOT switch between credit and auto payout. At parties someone is always accidentally changing modes and then they get confused. Credit only not only avoids that problem, but is much easier for extended play as it lets you dump in up to 53 tokens at a time.

I am finding out very quickly that this is going to one of my major center pieces at the parties I have. I am seriously considering another. I know nothing on these machines and do not understand Japanese and wanted to make sure I did not get a bum machine.

Any recommendations on future purchases that may have the extra bells and whistles mentioned? I was looking at some LCD type machines with the 4th wheel option.

You are going to get a lot of of recommendations :!:

Depending on how much you are willing to spend etc I would either go with a BABEL model (pricing should calm down to 100.00 or so + shipping) or SPINLUCK (pricing on this may go below 500.00 soon). These are assuming you are doing an Ebay auction purchase.

Super Reno is Max Bet and Credit Only. I have one and love playing it. I put an auto stop chip in just for fun. It's one of the machines I'll keep for a while. :-)

FeverGhost is a type A slot by Daido and is a 1, 2, or 3 credit bet machine.
It has an LCD screen, volume controls and it is cool as hell.
Just installed the bandit arm yesterday, I advise everyone to at least think about getting one, they are SOOOO cool AND, in my opinion - worth it.
