Default Help with Olympia Las Vegas

I need help troubleshooting my Olympia Las Vegas machine. The machine will not spin. Everything seems to light up, fuse good etc. I think it may be linked to LED#7, which is on all the time. Does anyone know what input it is tied to? Possibly the Bet button?

I figured out the other LEDs as follows (which all seem to work):
    1 Reel sensor 2
    2 Reel sensor 3
    3 Stop button 3
    4 Reel sensor 1
    5 Stop button 1
    6 Stop button 2
    7 ???
    8 Spin Knob
    9 Token sensor
    10 Max Bet
    11 Token sensor

maybe a stuck bet button or the joystick lever may need cleaning or has a poor connection.

All the buttons and inputs seem to flash the LEDs correctly except for LED#7. That is what I think may be the BET button, but not sure.

I do not see a Stop button 3 in your list. That might be it. You can try to disconnect the plug on tthat button and see if the LED goes out.

LED#3 is stop button three. I think it may be the BET button? Anyone have this machine?

My mistake. I would try what alstonj1 has suggested.

I believe JMSVERO down south of me has a Las Vegas. He might chime in when he sees your post or you can try to PM him and ask him about the # 7 LED and what it does in his machine.

Since you can account for the max bet button. I would do the same as alstonj1 said. Unplug the bet 1 & bet 2 tokens buttons & see if the light goes out.
I had a different machine where the bet 2 tokens button was jammed.

    Autoslot.

I just checked my Tom Cat which is a same year (2001) machine as the Las Vegas. All my LED's match yours. # 7 is on all the time and mine is in working order. I even tried to reset the payout and dump all coins and switch on and off the 50 coin credit mode. They did not change # 7

The board your autoslot connects to too will not affect the Max bet or reel spin knob if disconnected. Only the reel stop buttons.

I'm just off to work but when I get back in the morning if your problem is not resolved I'll trace down the reel spin lever and see where it leads to.

OK, It looks like LED #7 is supposed to stay on. I've removed the autostop/credit-add board. I've tried unplugging different buttons and the machine still will not spin.
Not sure what else there is to try other than maybe getting a hold of another 2001 Olympia machine and start swapping boards.

Does LED 8 light up when you press the Spin lever? And does the spin lever knob light up after you press Max Bet?

Yes, LED 8 light when the spin lever is pressed. The lever knob lights as soon as the first token is put in.

A full reset doesn't help either.

I'm going to e-mail Gaku for help, since the PachiTalk member I bought it from got it from him.

The only other think I can suggest if you have not done it is re seat the ribbon cable from the door PC board that the reel spin / stop buttons are connected to at both ends and both ends of the right ribbon cable on top of the reel cage. That ribbon is the one the powers the reel motors.

I'll keep tinkering with mine to try to duplicate your problem via the wiring. If you get to the point of having to check voltages let me know an I can tell you what they are on my machine.

Yes. contact Gaku. He should be able to either get it up and running or replace it.

    New In Town,

Thanks for your kind offer to help me troubleshoot this. Gaku said he does not have any spare parts for the Olympia machines. I'll try to check a few more things and voltages and get back with you.
