    Default tracking winnings

I'd love to be able to track balls spent vs balls won. Has anyone made such a mod, or know how it might be possible? Thanks.

I haven't seen anything out there that can do a perfect job yet.

My dongles can keep track of balls purchased, and you can work out balls won for the start pocket and from fever rounds using a battle counter (but there's no information available from the side payout pockets).

Gaku's 'Pachi Counter' is probably the closest you'll get, but it's not perfect as it counts all 'winning' balls equally, so for example a 4 ball start pocket win, a 7 ball side pocket win and a 15 ball fever pocket win are all counted as the same arbitrary number.

Some machines have a 'battle counter output' style 'Prize ball' output that will pulse once for every 10 prize balls awarded that could be used instead, but I'm not sure how easily this could be interfaced to Gaku's counter.

My eventual plan is to interface up an old PC to make my own 'Parlour computer', which will collect all the statistics from the machine. This will include balls purchased (via the ball loan button / dongle), balls played from the count sensor present on the parlour spent ball catchers (similar to the 'ball drops' Arby is selling on the auction site), and all of the information available from the battle counter outputs on the machine.

The intention is to do this via a small counter unit for each machine (similar to pfiesm's 'PachiCount' Pachislo counter), but using ethernet as an interface to the PC with the stats being viewable using a web browser rather than needing to write custom software for the PC (which is not one of my strong points).

Unfortunately I've got no time to work on this project right now (or the cased version of the smartcard option for the dongles that is first in the queue!), so I'll have to make do with the dongles and a battle counter for now.

I set Gaku's Pachi-Counter up on my Freddy vs Jason and it counts balls won and balls shot perfectly. My Freddy is set up cyclic and I positioned the win sensor to pick up off of the payout motor. It does an exact count every time.
