Pachi-World
After seeing the Speed Racer pachinko that Rubberratt got, I knew I had to have one.
My wife said NO MORE!!but I had to get it. (I had to buy her a turquoise ring to keep her happy) This by far is the most I've paid for a pachi.
Rather than talk about the machine (see RR's videos) I thought I would share my experience with Pachi-World.
The first contact was with someone that wasn't very fluent in english. The second e-mail was more readable and after nailing down the price, payment was made. They told me it would take 3 weeks for shipping (It arrived 3 weeks to the day) They contacted me at one point to see if I wanted a cyclic or parlor machine.
As I got home from work FedRex was just leaving.
The box was a little larger than the usual sized pachi shipping box. I should note that fedRex didn't even put a single ding in the box.
It also had a label that read : Caution, Fragile, High Insurable value. Upon opening the box, I found a well packaged machine. It was packed in styro peanuts (So many that I had to get the snow shovel out to clean them up)
The machine was triple wrapped in thick bubble wrap with a 1" thick piece of styrofoam taped over the glass.
After removing the bubble wrap, I found a machine that looked Brand new.
It came with a ball tray, about 4 or 5 hundred Gold balls.
It didn't have legs mounted, but that's no problem since I'm currently working on a 2 pachi cabinet with a ball lifter. The transformer wasn't labeled, so I'm not sure how many amps it is. So far I've played it about 20 hours and it never gets hot.
All in all, I would say that Pachi-world did me right.
Now I gotta go play some more Speed! (Although Cutie Honey is getting lonely. I might have to turn her on)
