    Default eBay Pulling Pachislo Auctions?

I've come across at least 6 auctions today that I had been watching that have been pulled by eBay. They've been from several different vendors, including a couple of the big ones, pachislot777 and pachinko_pallace.

    Anybody know what's going on?

They're pulling fast now, four gone in less than 30 minutes on my watch....some state maybe is hot and bothered legal-wise? Let's see if they pull them all, sheesh.

They pulled my spin luck twice today, thing is you cant even contact them to ask why! Im told i have to list a disclaimer about it, but these machines are nto slot machines, they are a category all their own!! They need to get this corrected like now!

Some are coming back now, for a while there it was page after page of no slots. What a mess just before Christmas.

They could have at least cleaned out all the bids for us.

They took down 7 of my auctions, with or without bids, all MFR's not just IGT. Are they kidding me, one week before Christmas? I had almost 1500 worth of machines up??? This is BULL****

i just got this from ebay,

    Please be aware that auction:

6138329656 - ARRA KING PACHISLO SLOT MACHINE-LAS VEGAS ACTION!!

in which you were a bidding participant, has been ended early by eBay
for violating one or more of our listing guidelines.

Because the auction was ended early, you as a bidder are not required
to complete the transaction. Since this is a listing violation, the
seller is free to relist the item in the proper format. Should you wish to
do so, you are free to bid on the item again if it is relisted.

If you care to review our listing guidelines for a better understanding
of our auction policies, they can be found at:

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/listing-ov.html

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may
    have on our existing policies.

    What I wrote back
    Original Message Follows:
    -------------------------

    Hello,

I rewritten and have stressed in the auction that this is TOKEN only machine
Pachislo slot machine from Japan. This and the other machines I sell can not
be converted use money, As per Iowa law tokens only.

    Greg Q. ArBuckle

Here is the rework Auction # 6129019008
This is what they said to do
    ello Greg,

Thanks for writing to us. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you
    with your questions.

I have reviewed your auction and it is currently in violation of our
policy because the listing did not contain the required disclaimer:

"Due to laws regulating the sale of antique slot machines, I, as the
seller, will not accept bids from members in the states of Alabama,
Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Bids from members residing in any of these states will be cancelled."

You may relist the item after the appropriate changes has been made to
    the auction description.

Thanks again for writing, and thank you for being part of the eBay
    community.

    Regards,

    Kenton

    Wow,

So I guess you have to add this:

Due to laws regulating the sale of antique slot machines, I, as the
seller, will not accept bids from members in the states of Alabama,
Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Bids from members residing in any of these states will be cancelled.

    Default EBAY

I talked to Milt, had he had about 2k worth of machines taken down, according to his acc rep "by mistake" He said there is nothing you can do but re-list, and make sure you put the same line about antique slots that Arby has posted above. He also added that it should state that this is a token in token out machine and can not be readily converted to accept coins. His rep said if you include those 2 items, they wont be taken down

All joking aside, I am sorry that it happened to you and Milt.

i think that is what hurts these auctions the most,

people saying on their ads that they can be converted to quarters easily or omething similar.

and these people with all the booklets about changing to quarters being sold on ebay don't help either.

IT'S TOO BAD THIS HAD TO HAPPEN AT THE PEAK SALES TIME :-(

It's going to hurt the dealers in thier pocketbooks for xmas sales :-(

Oh well...You can get upset or go with it....I spoke to my rep. who said my listing was within current policy guidelines and he apologized for the mistake. He also said they will be changing the policy and to add the words from the policy page to the auctions. I did that and I am re-listing now....My personal disclaimer to all here....It is important to answer the conversion question by saying they are not readily convertible to accept coins and nothing else. Many of the auctions were removed due to people blatantly stating they are quarter ready....Not good....Just Milts 2 cents...
