This is a good reason to stick with my Sig P239 9mm with SXT +P+ ammo.

Here is a pick of the expanded bullet.

I like Black Talons for my .45 backup

they open up to about 1 inch at 5 feet from target.

My target a bunch of years ago was a deer hit by a car and still alive and kicking about with three broken legs.

The woman didn't want the deer so I clean and gutted it and took it to a locker.

And a collection of rubber bands recycled from being wrapped around the daily newspaper.

They won't let me fire any of them at the local shooting range, though.
I assume those rubber bands are the small ones, not the 'magnum' type. Wouldn't want your rubber band gun to explode!

The Winchester Ranger SXT are the Black Talons. They just renamed them because of all of the bad press that they were getting.

Someone said that SXT stands for SAME EXACT THING...

    Absolutely...
With the recently passed Rubber Band Control Laws, its tough to find those magnumRB's.

I still can't believe GW signed that bill into law without a veto.

back in the 60's am Italian company made a replic of the tompson submachinegun in semi automatic in 45 cal. with the drum.

they were the blow back design, as the first catridge was expelled it was ready to fire the second. the problem was the sear, either it wore or got filed down to make them fully automatic.

A local dealer in Chicago was selling them for around $125.00 and I almost bought one. AFT guys came to his store one day and took all he had in stock and also got a list of all the buyers and went to their homes and confiscated theirs

they weren't on the market very long!!!

we had a no weapons company policy at the stores I worked at.

one of my night men had a guy pull a knife out and demanded the money, My night man pulled out a pistol that he had a permit to carry.

the guy ran out and he gave the police a description of him, the attempted robbery made the paper and my boss fired him

my boss always told every employee to give them the money and get them out of the store as soon as possible.

one guy at another store had given the robber the money and the robber shot him in the leg afterwords just for the fun of it the first question my boss asked the manager is "how much money did they get"

I think I hold the world's record for 24 years working and managing convience stores and never personally being robbed

Has the ban on owning guns in Washington done anything to stop the robbing and murders? The answer is HELL NO!!! Guns do NOT kill, people do.

We don't do guns here in the Netherlands. And now they just banned knives too. You are not allowed to carry knives with a blade longer than 2,5 inches, and just last week they banned stilletos and switchblades. Kinda overdone i must admit...

But on another note, although we have crimes over here, just like everywhere else, and taken into account that the Netherlands is one of the most crowded nations on the planet (square meter per person), percentage wize we have far less crime and death's by guns than over in the US. I don't really have an explanation to that. I must say I wouldn't be too happy if some people I know would have a gun. Some people are totally unfit to carry guns, I am glad that they can't just go into a shop and get one ... or more.

But Zaun thinks Spiers, who had a permit to carry the concealed weapon, was well within his rights when he fired the shots March 27, so Zaun is "going to be watching Pizza Hut."

Kenneth Jimmerson, 19, who was hit with three bullets, called 911 for medical help and subsequently was arrested on a charge of first-degree robbery.
