    Default IMatrix in Canada

I just got off the phone with this IMatrix place about their pachinko machines.

    Check this link -
    http://www.imatrixcanada.com/Item.asp?ItemID=198

Does it not say "2 machines for one low price including
shipping to anywhere in North America for $299.00" ?

They try to tell me add $100.00 per machine for shipping.
What is with these guys ?

    I know, not after that.
I was just wondering if anyone else got a BS story from them too.

It seems that TilionMtl got sucked in to sending them money for a Horror Mansion, then they told her that they did not have it after all.

Also no thanks... I want my machines all original. I doubt it was broke, so why fix it? Yikes... I have been eyeing a hyperpassion for a while though... Too bad they modded that one.

My previous dealings with them have been good.

They are simply providing a heavy gauge three pronged power cable that is grounded to the machine.

In my book this extra expense item is infinitely better than a cheap two prong lamp cord.

Two modern games shipped anywhere for $299 obviously sounds too good to be true and they absolutely should fix their mistake.

Ah, well that's ok then. I was imagining all the original wiring replaced by computer ribbon cables!

Their power cables are the heavy ones sold for use with computers and monitors. They simply lop off the computer end to connect it to the transformer.

Yes I bought Freddy vs Jason from this company and I'm satisfied.

About the Horror Mansion pachinko, I asked them if they may have one storedand not listed on their web site, since it's an older model, and they said yes, they still have one, they said they would sell it to me at the same price as Freddy vs Jason. I paid immediately for it since I already have done business and was satisfied. On Ebay I'm known to be a payer who pay immediately. My bad this is my fault too this time, I'm a quicky.

I emailed them back to say that the payment for Horror Mansion was sent, and they replied to say that they may have confused with an other machine, they sent a picture for confirmation.

It was "something else" Mansion, House Mansion maybe don't remember, not Horror Mansion. I said it wasn't the good one, so they said they will proceed with the refund, unless I'm interested about an other machine. Since this was their error, they said they would send me an other machine if I want, to the same amount I already sent.

I don't consider myself being sucked into it. I've been screwed more than once on Ebay, and many time by Ebay itself because I bought something, and Ebay frose and canceled the seller account for some unknown reason. (sellers with more than 3000 feedbacks)

Until now, I'm satisfied with the outcome. I just bought two other machines from them. My better half will kill me, that is what I'm really concern about

By the way, I communicate by phone with the one I've done business with for (for the 3 machines). i know they are atleast two persons working there because I spoke to an other person too. Their site seem not really up to date about the informations. I can't say it's BS.. let see if they will change their web pages.

When I will get my two machines, I will give you more news.I hope to be also satisfied.

By the way Raymond, I'm a he, not a she, heheheheh...

About the change cable plugs thingy, like dishpan said, it's misleading. They don't change all the plugs in the machines. It is better to understand it like this:

They probably change their plugs type used before, for a computer cable plug, bigger, and with the ground pin. This ground pin is also connected to the frame of the machine.

Sorry, I am not sure why I thought you were a she.
    Please accept my apologies.

And I really didn't mean to say that you were duped by them or they ripped you off.

I just thought it was kinda funny what they told me about the combo pricing and remembered what you said about the Horror Mansion (they said they had it and took your money, then said they didn't have it).

No offend at all Raymond about the she/he, and the ripped of by them, hehehe.. for the ripped of, well it's my fault too, I paid 30 seconds after I received the message saying that they have one, then sent a message back about 5 minutes later to let them know that the payment had been sent, and they replied not much longer after to tell me about the possible misunderstood.

I feel to clarify the situation so if peoples here feel to buy from Imatrix, they will not have a bad opinion about this company, because of my fault too. I can't guaranty you about their sincerity, but please understand that this problem was caused also by myself. I was too excited, and been too fast.

I decided to buy Vicky Chance or Party Poker from them instead, but was not sure about which one to buy, I finally ask about both, and they offered me a fair deal for two machine.

Until now I don't feel any problem with them, apart the free shipping thingy, that I hope, they will change soon.

    So offend at all Raymond

On a different note, how did you send payment to them? I have gone to their website (www.imatrixcanada.com) any number of times and when I try to buy anything, I get a PayPal message saying this vender can't receive money???

I mean it's no worse than most of them that list items and then you can't buy it after you've filled out 20 pages of stuff only to be told that they are "out of stock".

I don' know why I'm so grumpy tonight, probably the thought of getting up early and driving for hours to get to the Texas Pinball Festival. But it will be sweet an entire hotel full of pinball machines...all set to FREE PLAY...

well, I talk to David, their web site is kinda old, so you better email them first to see if they still have the machine you want. First machine I bought from them was throw Ebay, then Paypal. The two other machine was directly from them and I sent money throw Paypal to the same email they use on Ebay.

The 28th of Januari I ordered 2x 500 balls on ebay from someone called Tommyzx1122. Finally this afternoon two packages with balls arrived. Seeing this post triggered my attention and I checked the packaging just now and it IS Imatrix that sent me the balls.

I am not too happy with the transaction, as you can see below :

    1) The ad said :

500 units Pachinko Steel Balls *Brand New Never Used* : US$19.00 Buy it Now

Well there were rusty balls and some were discolored. Nothing that a good tumbling can't solve, but still. Not new at all. (And I haven't got my tumbler yet :s: )

    2) I paid them US$110 for posting. Thats a lot, but on the packaging it mentions CAD$40.42 per package, so they overcharged almost 40%

    3) The "value" of the package is written on the slip and says : $80. Because of this I had to pay an extra $63.- on tax. Packages with a value less than $34 are not taxed. Now of course the seller didn't know this, but why put a value of $80.00 on a package I paid $19.00 for ???

    4) I paid for priority posting and it took 8 weeks to get it here. That's strange at the least.. I bought a pachinko from someone else the same day and it got shipped to my front door in 10 days. Priority, my Ass !

    5) Being pissed of and still am , i decided to count the balls. I come to 985. That is not 1000. It may seem a bit nitpicking, but after all the nonsense this pissed me off even more.

I sent him a mail before starting on this rant and he better give some proper answers, else I'll give him the most negative rating I can think of.
