    Default Help with Japanese translation...

Okay, I'm trying to figure this one out... I'm guessing it's something that doesn't literally translate from Japanese to English well... (What does?) It's the second Lupin III game:

    ルパン三世 タマダス島に眠る財宝

    I know this part:
    ルパン三世

Is 'Lupin III' or 'Lupin the 3rd'

    This part:
    タマダス島

is 'Isle of Tamadasu' or 'Tamadasu Island'

    But what does this mean:
    に眠る財宝

I keep getting 'The treasure which sleeps' from online translators... I can't quite get what they are trying to say...
I'm thinking the whole thing means 'Hidden treasure of Tamadasu Island' or something like that, but I want to be sure... Help!

(It's my new machine, BTW... )

Well, I can't help you with the Japanese, but I do know that in any language it all translates to "Fun". Enjoy your new game.

Oh yeah, it's definitely fun! It has a large, plastic cross-hairs type gun sight the slides out in front of the LCD every now and then, and the Lupin character on the side of the display turns and shoots at it... That was a really cool (and unexpected, by me at least) surprise!

I also got it go into Fever 3 times in a row the first night I had it... (Cheated a little with the glass open at first, but then played it normally until it stopped letting me win... Took a while...)

As the online translators indicate, it can be literally translated as 'The treasure which sleeps', but when used in this context it would be more accurate to translate as 'The treasure which lies idle'. So you're pretty much spot on with 'Hidden treasure'.
