No joking I was really considering that movie as it is right up there with the rest. That movie was made very very well. I actually happened to be in a theater down the block from the Alamo when I saw it . How cool is that? The Large Marge scene was Great as were many others
    The movie is a Classic!

    1. Empire of the Sun , For me, this is the movie. It is a movie that brings me to the brink. It explores the duality of man in a bid for survival. It is a movie I fill connected to. And in many ways I can see myself as this young boy. (Oh... a little trivia, the boy is Christian Bale. And yes it is based on a true story.)

I've got to add Slap Shot to my list.

I love ice hockey... plus it was filmed in my hometown.

The YouTube 'Hanson Brothers' links are beyond the forum's PG-13 rating... but there is this instructional segment available.
