it's a 2000 yamasa model, the lcd takes you thru time, from dinasours to middle ages and to future with flying saucers,

also cleopatra on her throne and erupting volcano.

the baby dissappears in time and the professor and his robot have to find him.

a nice fun machine, you will be watching videos more than reels.

nice sounds and music too

Wow, thanks for the detailed description! As far as what I paid for it, I'm pretty darn sure I paid a handsome price at $295 due to the holiday season and the fact that I wanted to make sure I won one for my wife. Please be kind :smt003 . I wanted to make sure I had one for her by Christmas. Maybe if she likes it enough I'll get her another one for her birthday...ONE WEEK LATER . Maybe by that time prices will have leveled out?

I posted this machine for you in the pachislo museum. Once you get it, you'll have to post under the machine listing and write a review of it.

Christmas is certainly the silly season on pricing. I saw that ad and the chrome did look perfect. You'll like the case upgrade they do too.

I'd be happy to! Well, live and learn. I just did a search for "Time Cross" on ebay and MidOhioSlotMachines is selling one at a "Buy It Now" price of $129.99. I can only hope that mine is in a little better cosmetic shape, given that the description of the one from MidOhio didn't really go into the machine's condition. OK, I'm trying to justify it.

Well now don't discount your purchase just yet. You also get a lifetime warranty with this one. 8-) And you'll have to ask Davis about MidOhio.

Worry not, I don't think there is anyone here that spent a little more than normal for their first machine. Plus you were smart enough to get it from a reputable vendor. You should have a trouble free experience your first time out. You should get it in time for xmas, all ready to play on xmas day.

Instead of getting it cheaper from a questionable vendor, and not being able to even get ahold of anybody to remedy the problem because they took the week off between the holidays, not that it would arrive before the first of the year, or the inside being a jigsaw puzzle that you have to figure out how to put back together, or just a plain crappy machine.

No you did good, decent vendor, fast shipper, fair price for the season, and I bet you can get ahold of them first thing monday (if not sunday) after xmas if you need to.

Thanks all, I don't feel like such a knuckle head now. And as far as a reputable vendor goes, get this; I got home at noon today and found a "sorry we missed you" sticker from FedEx. Today is Tuesday, and I won the machine Saturday (in other words 3 days ago) evening...Wow! I guess Pachinko Pallace really sticks by their guns. Now I have to wait till tomorrow :smt022 . That's OK, I still haven't figured out where to hide a 90 pound machine until Christmas!!

Update on the Christmas Eve party! We sure had a blast playing with the DDK. What a fun machine! It paid 3 bonus rounds in a row, without hardly a break. Perhaps, the level 6 needs to be adjusted down a tad.

    Slotter,

Glad to hear that you had a fun time with your new DDK at your party. We also received our new machine this week, a DDK as well, and it's a blast. Great sound and color. I have a question for you: are the small reels on top supposed to spin all the time, or only periodically? I ask this b/c our the reels on our machine seem to spin randomly. Thanks for any input, and happy holidays!

They just spin some of the time. And, they will spin in different ways. This is normal.

As Gary said, the top reels are random. But, it seems when the machine gets 'hot' and more near to hitting a bonus they become more active? :-? At least that's the perception I have.

    Got it, thanks  .

I just discovered that my machine's payout was set at level 1, after my wife complained that the machine never paid out! I set it to level 4, so we'll see how it does. I want the machine to pay some bonuses, but not to many. On the other hand, I don't want to have to put in thousands of tokens to see some action!!

On the right hand side of the DDK, above the coin slot, there is a vertical row of 5 lights -- two 7s followed by three symbols seemingly indicating each reel -- that have yet to ever light on my machine. Anyone have a thought on how these work and when they light? :-?

Speaking of bonuses, mine is now set for level 4 (after big payoffs on the Christmas Eve party) and still seems to pay out quite a bit more than it takes in. I've seen the bonus charts, but these charts seem to not apply across all the games. Am wondering how to set the payout on DD to appx. 95%? Anyone have an idea on this? Thanks!

I've noticed one of those sevens (above the coin slot and to the right of the reels) light up briefly followed by what I'm guessing to be a Japanese phrase or word. It's happened once or twice, and I still have no clue as to why it happened. :smt017 .

    Default Don Don King lights

:?: I've been playing my DDK since we picked it up this weekend and still haven't figured out what I'm supposed to do. I don't know what triggers the bonus and it seem like when it hits it just goes and goes. I've seen all the lights on the right hand side flash during the bonus but have no idea what they mean. The pay lines are very confusing. I see payouts like 3 bells, 3 7's but when they come up nothing happens. :-( These machine are very strange but I am enjoying all the sounds and stuff that happens when you get the bonus. I just wish I understood what I was doing.

domer on the ddk. For the lights on the right. When a red seven lights and all the reels go dark except one that is the reel you have to stop first. It is telling you to get that red seven on that reel. You should be Abel to do eye shooting and get the seven. If you don't do the next reel that lights up and so on. The same for the blue seven. As for the caricters on the bottom on the right it is almost the same thing but I have not yet figured out what you are supposed to shoot for. I you don't stop the lighted reel it throes you out of that special round. It will do this for some time.

smmm88fan. Are you saying that when you get say three bells across on any of the three lines of the two diagonal that it does not pay out anything? Nothing no sound no amount comes up in the pay led or credits to the credit led?
