Default OK, now y'all made me do it. I bought Don Don...

Yeah... it's all your fault. I never expected to buy even the FIRST machine. I was perfectly happy with a 30 year old mechanical Pachinko that didn't even work most of the time.

But, NO! As a newbie I innocently bought a machine at Costco and got back home and wanted to learn about it. Logged in here and first thing I know, I find that there are OTHER machines out there that are VERY entertaining. And, stands. And, more tokens. And, And, And.........

First I spent a LOT of time fixing the old Pachinko game. My family forgave me for that.

But, tonight I bought a Don Don, based on the rave reviews. (Woohoo!!!) I also bought some more stands. I'm looking at neon lighting to hang above the bar. (What bar? The one I'm thinking of buying!!!)

Thanks one helluva lot. Now I'm in the basement gameroom ALL the time.

My wife is not aware of this yet....

Wait a minute I have a reputation to uphold :smt076

If it's a Don Don, blame it on David! Now if it's a Spin Luck, sure go ahead and blame me! :smt023

I know the feeling Slotter. I bought a Don Don, too. Got it on ebay and as I write I am also tracking the delivery process. I expect it will arrive today. I don't even have it yet and I am already researching my next one to buy. Thanks to this site I got a lot of info in a short time...GOOD INFO!
    Thanks to all.

hers hwo you do it, buy them in bulk, sell them on ebay and make up the money for each one you keep! Thats the way I did it at first, then i got money hungry and started selling all of them! I had 8 or 9 machines at one time, but ive dwindled that down to three now. Ill probably stick with 4, just enough to fill my lower level and still have room too move around!

I've been researching these machines after my wife and I stumbled upon them at Costco, and have decided to surprise her with one for Christmas. I have to admit (with some guilt) that I'm pretty excited myself about getting one (or more?) in the house  . I've been looking on ebay at Pachinko Palace's selection. I was outbid on my first go around  , but I'm trying again. Wish me luck! Could I be an addict and not even own a machine yet?

    Domer,

I think many of us have been there! Not owed one, but just knew more was to come!

I am glad you found the site! It's a great place to learn even before you buy one!

    Hi Domer,

David is EXACTLY right about learning before making mistakes. I wish I'd found the site before goofing up on several things! :smt013

I paid a bit more for my DDK than bmatonte did, but it seems each day closer to Christmas, the machines certainly are going up.

According to FedEx, I should get this baby on Dec. 23rd. We are having a Christmas Eve party here and it will be up and running then, so what is the value of that???

What machine did you win from them? OH and don't forget the let pachinko pallace know that you're a member here, before they ship your machine.

    Tulsa,

The machine I got was "Time Cross". It has 3 reels with a small (4 inch I believe) LCD screen to the right of the 3rd reel. I couldn't really find much documentation on the machine, but it looked very neat. I hope I didn't get a dud, although I suppose choosing a machine is a subjective process. I did mention I was a member of PachiTalk to receive my free tokens, thanks to this awesome forum (thanks for the reminder). I'd love any feedback on Time Cross if anyone has some offer...
