Can anyone in Japan help me get something from YJA?

I need (well, want... ) help getting a Pachinko promotional item from Yahoo Japan... Anyone here in Japan that can help? Naturally, the seller won't ship overseas, and the item contains a bottle of wine, so none of the proxy services will allow it... (Not really sure why it has the wine, but it's kind of cool...)

Actually, yeah, that's the problem. No one wants to ship liquids overseas, or alcohol... Is it actually illegal, or just a risk/hassle? I'd much rather have it with the wine in it, but I guess if it's just not possible I can live with it...

Some states you can't import alcohol into at all, I would think it's more the tax thing than anything. I would think the glass and liquids thing would be a problem too (in that it shows up in one piece).

Wonder if you have to be a registered wine/spirits importer? If so, maybe they can get it.

There's some exceptions to that rule if it's considered a 'collectible' wine. But I don't know if it has to be old to be considered 'collectible', or just unique... I'll have to look into that.

That's what I was afraid of... Hadn't even thought of the pressure problem... I guess it would make it easy to get caught...

I'll have to live with an empty bottle then, since I don't think I'll be flying to Japan any time soon.

When you say pop you mean the cork will pop off?I brought some bottles of wine from France and they arrived with me fine.Or are you saying the inside will change.My translator from France told me that they would be fine.Now you got me all worried.
