My wife officially hates me. This used to be our formal dining room.

I've been playing a bit the last few days to see what it would look like if I did what you see in these pics. It's not done, not even decorated to speak of but the machines are mostly there. I currently have my original terminator in there and it will be replaced with the Apollo 1 pachinko but otherwise it's set.

Give me your thoughts on how it could look better. Since my wife now thinks our house looks like a bar, I knew I was getting close. :lol8:

Your wife has the idea, it looks like a bar, what else to make it look better? Nothing like enjoying your favorite cold beverage while playing!

Hahahaha I think it looks great! A Bar?! That is a compliment!

You have some choice machines there!

PS I basically did the same thing but my pic I converted the breakfast nook into the game room!! My wife is happy because the family room is pachi and neon free now!

Very nice collection. I like the stands. The only thing I can suggest is some pachi decorations/flags on the walls.
    Never met a Pachi I didn't like!

Formal dining rooms are over rated anyway. Just ask your guests to eat over the sink like we do ours. As far as your wife thinking the room now looks like a bar, ask her to get you a beer and don't forget to tip her! :lol8:

    Thanks for the pics!

It seems to me that you've been raising the bar!

It's not like we don't have the dinette that will expand to seat 6 easily and 10 if they like one another. We've got a nice set of TV trays. Really when you think about it, we should be fixed up and this room needed to be converted to something useful.

The formal dining already had the stands with the pachislos on those but the table was still in the middle and people simply ate amoung the pachi's which was kind of cool but I needed the room.

Maybe if I got some really tacky neon signs of womens legs kicking, then I could agree to take those down and make her happy?

The ball lifter goes in next and five of those machines already have Daverobs dongles.

cool seriousley i found myself playing alot more with the lifter and ball handeling in place ie if i had a spare five mins it was easy to just turn on a remote and play without having to load with balls ect

Though i did spot the stairing mistake pachinko around teh edge with pachislo in teh middle butthere is a pachislo on the edge upsetting teh balance

That's the terminator I mentioned earlier that was going to go in favor of the Apollo 1 which will in turn go, or Batman will go whenever I get that Star Trek machine.

Well Sir Tulsa, the only problem that I can see is...

There are gaps between the Pachi Stands!!

Surely with a bit of creative thinking & gentle manoevring you could fit even more Pachinkos in there!!

and the black cloth covering the table should reach the floor and then you could hide even more Pachi stuff underneath and sneak it out when no-one is looking!!

Other than that - it looks great!!

    Why thank you Lady Ang.

Yes, I would agree that drape needs to touch the floor. I suppose I'm going to have to go to a fabric store and purchase something for my exact needs as the sizes I was offered from a store here called Garden Ridge, this was the largest.

As to the maneuvering of the pachinkos, while I agree I could get more machines to fit with the use of tables instead of those stands. However with the $700 I have invested in those stands and the fact they are no longer available, means I probably won't go down that road. It is a limiting factor in the number of machines I maintain but 14 on display is a good number for me. Now, If I were to suddenly find myself divorced, that potential number may increase.
