I upgraded the poor lighting (cheapo light fixture with just 2 bulbs ) in my pachinko game room, and what a difference! Best $30 Ikea light fixture ever! It's just an inexpensive LED track light with 5 very bright spotlight LEDs that can be adjusted, but wow, once they were aimed at the cells they really make the play fields "pop" and much easier to see where the balls are going, ect, especially on the Penguin's black play field. I highly recommend a track light like this to properly light up your pachinko room!

I don't see that I ever put up pictures of my game room. Here are a couple pictures from about a year ago.

We are still working on a few things, like added decoration, another table, some more chairs, and one or two other things.
i am in colorado springs. i built a mame setup. mines a bit complex (you cant see it) but if you ever need help, let me know...... if you are still around.

i dont really have a game room. i have the arcade and pachinko here. in another room i have the wii and xbox set up, and the pool table didnt fit in the basement so its where the formal dining room would have been because i think a formal dining room is wasted space

We've been working on getting the MAME together; we've got a prototype of the pedestal "cabinet", so to speak, using a multimedia cart with a wooden board tacked to the top, on which we're running a pair of Xbox 360 fighting sticks, and a PC... and a 47" flat panel monitor, wall mounted, that can be rotated to let us play things like PunchOut and Donkey Kong at ludicrous sizes instead of being massively pillarboxed. The cabinet build will probably happen this next year, depending on weather (no place indoors to do cabinetry).

    Time for an update http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/memb...-displays.html

I rearranged my dining room/game room with some newly acquired tables for my toys. Most of my machines are shown with exception of a few in stages of repair and many vintage pachinkos still in storage. Some general cosmetic and electrical work is still needed along with hanging my wall stuff someday and some carpet cleaning. I hope they built a strong second floor in this apartment building!

#1) What to do with an unused dinning room? Fit 16 machines into it!
    #2) 1st and 2nd walls
    #3) 3rd wall
    #4) 4th side
#5) What else would you put in front of a fireplace not being used?

Been awhile since the last time I posted my game room. Made a lot of changes since then. Only problem now is it is time for a new house with a bigger game room. Planning to start the hunt for the new house next year. Here are some pictures of the remodel I did lase year to the game room.

    Here are a few more...

I set up the room so that all games and lighting are controlled by voice. I just say "Turn on Bar Games" and the room comes to life. The grandchildren love it.
