my valentines day

so i buy my wife tickets to see the kidd rock concert here in town on valentines day
planned on taking her to dinner and then to the show, and when i showed her what i had for her my daughter was like "wow thats really kool dad" (she had that look on her face like she wanted to go too)
so i played it off as if i had got the other ticket for her so that she could go with her mom
and i get to sit here at home (but she will take of me when i get old, i hope) plus i feel pretty good about it too

I myself played cook and hostess to my 17 old son and his gal pal for his first meaningful Valentines Day. I set up a 'restaurant' for them downstair with all the romantic trimmings.

He played here in Detroit last weekend, I heard it was a great show.
I really don't care for him myself, but he is a pretty big draw.
