I used to sell quite a bit on ebay as Confederate_Post_Office. The books were such low dollar sales I didn't really worry about the deadbeats too much but when I listed a piece of Confederate Currency and didn't get paid it made me very upset. Simply because there are a small amount of bidders for this item and to relist it always cause some suspicion.... These pieces of Currency were serial numbered so bidders knew it was the same item I had previously listed. Folks would see the item again listed by me and just seemed to think there must have been something wrong with it, buyer must have returned it, etc. That made it harder to sell for a good price the second time around. One day a bidder wanted to back out of paying for a CSA Note that had sold for over $400.00 and offered no excuse other than they changed their mind. So I emailed them and said this.... As a licensed business in Tennessee I could and would notify the Credit Bureau and give them a bad credit report and next time they needed a new car or house and were turned down for a loan just remember how "they had stiffed old Randy on ebay". They never even emailed me back but the next morning FedEx knocked on the door with an overnight envelope containing a certified check!! You might try this for deadbeats on high ticket sales.... it worked for me!!

    randywright,

Be careful. That bordered on extortion (a felony), but good for you!

Does anyone notice that the prices of Pachinko machines seem to be bid WAY up by zero feedback buyers who never end up as the high bidder?
I notice this on Popeye and other "hot" machines. I notice that on a particular sellers auctions it always seems that the same no-feedback bidders "inflate" the price then vanish. What gives???

With Sams club selling basic machines for 259+tax ... I think it is legit for people to be running up the auctions to 225 or more for the decent boxes. I am thinking of listing a bunch of machines from pashilo.com or other site that offers them for 129 and then having them sent direct to the seller, and making the margin in between. I am just wondering if its worth my time or how hard it would be to get my 9 year old trained to do this...

Might be a different thought here...

DrDark was talking about pachinkos. Sam's doens't carry them to my knowledge. Wish they did. Doubt they ever will.

Sam's pachislo supplier is TDC. Go to their website to search for TDC, and you'll see them.
