    You never know...
The Japanese find other titles more interesting sometimes.
Take this one for example... we're used to paying a LOT more for THIS one!

    Terminator at Papa's

LESS THAN $60 WITHOUT TOKENS (or keys)!!!!
They ARE out of stock on them, though.
But then again... they are out of these too:

    Monkey Magic at Papa's

But it's twice the price, comparing both without tokens. Not a real hot machine here, even though you don't see them that often.

As far as pachinkos, here's the "LOAD of the Ring" from them!
Again... a sellout. Around $110 US without balls? Dang! Almost worth a trip!!!

I didn't see Popeye in the Sammy section, though. But most of the Sammy's look to be less than $100 US...
and I believe this is a retail shop???

My point is... I think that these things are cheaper than we think!!! And they might not realize what's "HOT" here! If this is a retail store, that $90 each they quote above might even be HIGH in those quantities!!!

    Enjoy the links!
Be sure you all have a rag to wipe the drool before you go looking around in there. :-P
By the way, you can convert currency values here

    Dear azlew,

Hope you had a great holiday!

I would like to ask if you received the pachinko list ive sent to you? Herein attached the shipping cost for 20ft. from Tokyo to Phoenix Arizona. I suggest that if you want our stocks please inform us immediately so that we may not sell it to others. Some of the stocks were the one which is saleable, so i am hoping to receive your answers regarding this. If you gonna buy or even not i will be waiting for your response.

    Thank you and God Bless!

    Sincerely,
    Miss Vilma

    SHIPPING COST for 20ft. Container

    COMMODITY : PACHINKO MACHINE

    SCOPE : FM TOKYO CY
TO PHOENIX, ARIZONA DOOR (VIA LONG BEACH, CA)

    O/FREIGHT : US$ 2,950/ 20 DRY
    BAF : US$ 240/20 DRY
    THC : US$ 175/20 DRY
    AMS CHARGE : US$ 25.00/ENTRY

    CARRIER : COSCO/EVERGREEN

    RATE VALIDITYEND OF APR. 2005

So hmmm tell me ol' wise ones  what is BAF,THC and AMS CHARGE :?: Anyone ever hear of COSCO/EVERGREEN shipping ?

So for 200-250 Pachinkos total shipping to my door is supposed to be approx $3390.00 :?: and hmm the average price of the machines was what maybe 90.00 each....hmmm that makes them around 110.00 each delivered plus I would have to add new powersupplys and what maybe new glass etc? Looks like a really bad deal to me unless you ol' wise ones out there can see something thru all this :-P

    http://www.contship.com/content/tool...uide.asp?tab=0

FedEx has heard of Cosco and Evergreen:
    http://www.ftn.fedex.com/usbulletin/120304b.htm

    So has Cosco:
    http://www.cosco-usa.com/

I'm sure the rest of the answers are out there somewhere...

    As far as machines go...
    I'll take 3-LOTR's, 3-Popeye's, 2-ET's, and a Batman.
Looks to be just under $1K.
    COD, of course.
I'll even take care of my own glass and transformers if needed.
Heck, we'll even give you a home-cooked supper, a comfortable couch for the night, and breakfast the next morning. Might even pack you a lunch for your trip out.
And a place to change out of that cocktail waitress dress, too.
I might be able to store some others here for a while, for people from PA and NY that might order some of these. They could pick them up here.

Ok I will take 2 LOTR's and 2 Popeyes and 2..... hehe like I would ever order from these people....

By the time you would get these in and refurbish them you will have more into them than what they will be costing on Ebay after the dust settles.

    But if anyone decides to order a 20 ft container...I will take 2 LOTR's , 2 Popeyes, 2 Godzillas, 2 .... and 2.....

Yeah nice prices from an untrusted exporter. But by the time you add on a transformer, new glass and clean it up....how much did it cost afterall?
