Poker tournament !!!

Yup having squared it out with the boss (Tulsa) im up to organize a 10 man poker tournament where you can win real pachi points the catch is like a rel tornament it will be played live and probably take about 1.5 to 2 hours of your time on a Saturday eavning USA time or sunday morning UK time depending on the interest the idea is its Texas hold um 10 people enter the table on a given time and date with a maximum of 12,000 pachi points they play until they have lost 10,000 of them (the 2000 points are there to stop you getting locked out of pachi talk) as soon as you have lost your 10,000 points / chips then you will be asked to leave the table through the in house chat box at the poker table all are welcome and if you don't make the first 10 places then i will run another tournament the rules are casino classic style like a live tournament and are pre set by pachitalk casino the only one that isnt controlled by the casino is the buy in which will be at 12,000 as explained be for. the players must bank any other points they posses be for entering the casino so as to only have 12,000 avalible at teh beginning of the game the players will stay at the table and play until the last man / lady is standing, there will be no second buy in once you are out you are OUT and they will walk away with every other players buy in making the winner a staggering 1000,00 better off a big boost to your pachi points !!!

Saturday 26th Jan at midnight GMT time please if you agree to join the game be there the game will start ten mins after the time stated and no one will join after that

This is a pachi points event so

for some of the rules ie the buy in and no re buy in we are asking for your honesty an when you are asked to leave at having 2000 points left please do so and keep count of your points when betting im giving up a night and a day sleeping the next day to organize and watch this and i wont organize another if trust is abused im also sure tulsa would take a dim view of any abuse

other than that if there is 8 players upwards that are on the thread by the time the tournament starts i will be at the table welcoming you

and as i explaint the most of it is policed by the puter just the buy in and when you hit the 2000 limit asking you to leave and reminding you when you get low so i cant cheat

Table limits are as you know a max buy in of 10,000 and as far as i can tell from the aparently friendly game i had the other night the only limit is the blind that is set by the boss he has said he can alter it for the tornament for me but it seems to work good with just a single blind i will get back to you when i have spoken to tulsa or he replys here

As for watching the game unfortunatly its not set up for veiwing like the 888.com tables but if yo uwanting to lurn to play i can recomend the free play on 888.com it costs nothing you win nor loose nothing but there are some darn good players on there to lurn from

Ok having spoken to the boss the limits are on the blinds wich are 200 first and 400 second making the automated rais at 800 a time wich made for quite a good game nice and low to start with befor you get chance to call

Angie your best bet to lurn to play is get some one to meet you at the poker table ad talk you through as it is a real easy version of poke to pick up

well the initial intrest came from the USA side of pachi talk but i will all being well organise a more sivaly timed tornament for the europeans of pachitalk and may be have a play off between the 2 winners

12,000 buy in play with 10,000 and keep 2000 safty net so you arnt locked out of pachitalk for having no points in your pocket meaning the winner takes 10 x 10,000 making by my maths 100,000 just a guess though

Pachi points are for giving gifts playing the stock market and the casino see under games room tab at the top of the page

you gain points for posting in threads starting threads and other things done around pacchi talk

oh and every now and then when you have been exceptionaly good the boss gives a hand out to you
