Is the monkey Magic one of the machines not here yet? Need info on it.

ive always heard it called monkey magic. Its one of them, but id suggest the beast sapp over it. THe Best sapp is much more american ad the monkey Magic is very Japanese!

Nowhere on the machine does it say "Monkey Magic". The actual name is called "Osaru No Cyogoku". Now maybe translated it means Monkey Magic? Not sure on that.

Ooh, this is confusing! I just bought a Monkey Magic, assuming it was the Eleco transparent LCD model (on the same platform, but made after Hanabi Hyakkei, before Beast Sapp). ZCore13, any confirmation?

As for why people call it Monkey Magic, I thought it was because it was based on the Monkey Magic series:

They all have themes based on a 16th century Chinese book "Hsi Yu Chi" (Journey to the West) by Wu Cheng'En. It's better known in the US as Monkey or The Monkey King.

Another dealer also calls the Rai Rai Gokuu machines "Dragonball". Dragonball also has characters based on the same story but the machine is not based on Dragonball.
