    Default Star Wars

I agreed to buy a Star Wars (2007 Sankyo) for $700. I saw the machine a few weeks ago and it is in just perfect condition. What do you all think about it since there isn't much out there about this model yet. I'm planning to pick it up on Tuesday. I think it is going to be a real keeper.

thats the best price i've heard of. but i will wait a year or two before i get that machine. price may come way down if the star wars tv show bombs.. or i could be kickin myself in the butt for not getting it. cause 5 years down the line it may cost 3 time the amount.

I think you are one of the first to get the starwars slot. Not a bad price to pay to be the first.

I did take a look at some of the prices for Star Wars that were offered on the net. They were pretty surprising. Obviously I have no way of knowing if anyone is actually paying these prices but here is a sampling of 19 current offerings. No comment about the dealers or their reputations. These prices do not include shipping.
    Poker stars direct $4,398.99
    nolimitpokerstore $3,999.99

My work has a merchant account through Trademark Poker(5 Star) and our cost for the Star Wars pachi is $1543.07 and they show only 2 in stock.
I am sure that some of those places get a bigger volume discount than we do, as we have only bought a handful of stuff from them.
I did get my Spin Luck from them for $300.00 though and I think I bought my Mephisto and Mu Mu World for about $85 each from them, but their prices have gone up since then.
So for $700 it probably is a good deal, but who knows what the price will be in 6 months.

Thanks to all who replied. There is no way to no how this will turn out as far as whether or not it is a good buy. I suppose that the worst possible outcome would be that it's a lousy machine at an inflated price and Sankyo made 9 million of them and they sell for $50.00 next year.

Right now I'm looking at it as a chance to really find out early in the game what we're going to be in for as far as the Type 5 machines are concerned. I know that I for one don't particularly care about the size of the bonuses as long as the machines are fun to play. We'll see.

That is what happens when the mass of them get dumped on the market here. Than after a while if there is something about the machine that makes it a "I want this", than the price climbs back up there. Like Spin Luck, H-D, Exhaust, Dragon Dice, Addams Family, Terminator #1, and a few others.

And not to forget, Million God

You mean that you'd actually sell me one of your prized Million Gods? Will you thrown in an H-D and Dragon Dice?

Any one can buy a H-D, to get a Million God you have to climb to the mount top.
