Yeah, that's a nice room, is it a polished wooden floor ? And is there a mirror ball on the ceiling ? (or a chrome ball light or summat)

My mistake, I can see it's not the floor the machines are reflecting off, it's the big table.

My computer is set 800 by 600, the posts are all lined up ok, I jus had to scroll over for the pictures.

Now if your screen is set to 800x600 and its still causing you to have to scroll. What am I going to have to set the limit of picture size to, to accomodate that screen size?

The post are all lined up fine, I can read them all without scrolling.

I don't mind scrolling over once in awhile for pictures.

That was the whole point in limiting the size of the pictures to start with, so people who didn't have larger screen resolutions wouldn't have to scroll. I'm set at 1280x1024 so not many pics make me have to scroll at all.

I did a little xperimentin,
A web banner is 468X60 and those you don't have to scroll for, so with that width in mind, I think 468X351 would be the next size down, but I think we might be able to go a little bigger than that.

I wonder what the gamerooms of the vendors look like i.e. milts, TA's, etc.?

At 800 x 600 resolution you don't see the full screen anyway. At 1024x768 you see the full screen without having to scroll and the 640x480 pics fit this screen size as well.

My recomendation at this point would be if you don't want to scroll change your display to 1024x768. Any video card will support this resolution. If I was to change the picture requirements to a lower size to accomodate the 800x600, the pics would have to be 520x380. That's starting to get just a bit too small for decent detail.

Problem with changing the resolution is that maybe some people don't have but a 15" monitor and 1024X768 is reeeeaaaal tiny to read at that point. Hell I got a nice 17" composite at work and my boss *****es whenever he tries to read my screen (1024x768), he is gettin older and can't see too well anymore, he has his 17"lcd at 1024X768 but that is like looking at a 18.5" composite.
I don't think it's the video cards, it's the monitors and older eyes (no offense guys/gals).

I run a 21" Dell LCD at 1600X1200 and that gives a BUNCH of real estate, but I did have to tweak some NVIDIA card DPI settings to get the print in IE large enough for comfortable reading.

Luckydog...you're making me look bad. I sent pics of my gameroom to Tulsa and there wasn't a Pachi to be seen anywhere. It is still in my kitchen. Nonetheless, I think you guys are going to be SO JEALOUS when you see all that empty wall space I have just waiting to be filled with Pachis!!!
