The picture IS right now, because I fixed the painting, took another pic and re-uploaded it. I'm fast. Especially when embarrassed.

If you coulda heard my wife laughing about it you might not think it was so funny! She "claims" she's been telling me for years that it's upside down. (I don't remember that... )

    Little hint to all:
when displaying any Japanese art that is signed with a red stamp in a corner, the stamp should be in the upper right. I have seen this same kind of sig on many an original comic book art and drawing.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I know I keep saying I'm going to do it. This time I really mean it. I'm just waiting for my Terminator movie poster to come in so I can hang it behind my new "Arnold" Terminator pachislo that came in yesterday. (Found this great poster site that has full size 40" x 27" movie posters for about $15. I got a Terminator and Godzilla. Also picked up a slightly smaller sized Thunderbirds poster. They had Gundum too, but I didn't get that. www.posterplanet.net )

I will be on the road between now and the end of next week, so my earliest opportunity to take new pics will be about 10 days from now.

    Talking

Here is the other side of the room where the Pachinko machines are located. Now have the vintage in a cabinet and all three are very playable!

Nice pics slotter. After seeing your pics and listening to all this Pachinko talk lately, I just might have to break down and get one. My wife is going to kill me if I start collecting Pachinko's too. Oh well, she'll get over it!

My only advice is to make sure you can handle the noise. I wouldn't recommend one for anyone in an apartment. The balls are flat out loud during refilling and winning. With a Pachislo the coins aren't too bad and the volume can be controlled with an L-Pad.

I live in a single family home and I am turning the approx 1000 sq ft basement into a rec room. I have 8 Pachislo's, a pool table, foosball table, dart board, etc...

Thanks for the advise though, I probably won't be able to play at night since we have a 9 month old and another on the way in August.

I mentioned earlier that I'd used some shelf liner padding inside. That probably wouldn't be enough for an apt. later in the evening when neighbors are trying to sleep, but it did sure quiet things down. Only took 5 minutes to put the padded shelf liner in and it made a big difference. :biggthump

I can't wait until you get your first Pachinko. You are going to love it. I recommend it, big time to you. :biggthump

Like many others, you start with Pachislos and discover a second world out there. :lmao:

If you don't like it, I'll buy it from ya.

That's what I am afraid of....that the Pachinko's will be just as addictive....and they too will start multiplying like wild jack rabbits in heat!

Default Re: Pics of the Machine Setups or Gamerooms

In several older posts, and recently Misscrazylady asked that we put some photos of our game rooms up for viewing. I finally got my camera back, and thought I would post a few photo's of what I'm doing, although, it's not done yet.
My webpage isn't going to be anything like Gwarzin's, but you can view it here:

    http://home.neb.rr.com/lindquists/gameroom/

It'd be nice to see some of what the rest of you are doing as well. We might find cheap and easy ideas others are doing, that we hadn't thought of yet.
