    Default pay out

Does anyone know how much the pay outs on these machines actually are. What do the odds mean? 60%, 70% etc. Does the machinen pay out more than it takes in over the long haul? I am new to the hobby and am trying to set the machine up where it pays out consistantly, but does not pay out more than it takes. The machine I have has been converted to quarters.

What is the machine you have and we can probably get the payout table for you.

Thanks for that! I should have checked the Museum first. But, Looking at the table there I can't figure it out. For example, what might this chart mean? This doesn't refer to setting the odds with key does it?

I also don't understand this payout chart. Does it just show all the possible winning combos?

The pic with 1 - 21 is the "Reel Arrangement". It shows the symbols on the reels starting at the reel break.

Yes, it shows the various payout percentages depending on whether you set the machine to 1-6.

    Read across:

    Your setting 1-6
Odds of hitting a big bonus
Odds of hitting a regular bonus
Next 2 columns - payout percentage if there is no reset after a bonus
Last 2 columns - payout percentage if there is a reset after a bonus

I don't know what the difference is between the 2 columns that are grouped together under "reset" or "no reset". Anyone have any ideas?

The higher percentages are for players who use methods to avoid jac-in during the big bonus.

Thanks. The small difference in those percentages sure makes it look like it's hardly worth the effort.

True, but when you start counting Yen, it all adds up to money.

I just recently sold my bio messiah, it had nothing special. Just a standard 3 reel type a with standard big and reg bonuses. The attraction to this machine is the Gothic theme. That got old fast even for my (teenage) daughter and her friends. Now the King Camel (I just posted a review in the museum section) is what we replaced it with is much more enthralling.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

Thanks much for the replies! Anyone have any idea what the Big Bonus and the Regular Bonus would pay out then? I have been counting the coins when in the Bonus mode and it seems to pay out about 270 tokens. That amount is paid after running through several of the 8 "automatic" Jac payouts.

A regular bonus gives you 8 consecutive wins for 120 coins. A big bonus gives you 30 spins or 3 regular bonuses, whichever comes first, for a total of 360 - 500 coins. Some machines vary on these numbers.

Conti 4X is a B-type machine so the big bonus will end after 30 of the plays where you bet 3 coins or at the end of the second regular bonus round which ever comes first.

It's a twin BB machine. I think the normal big can pay 280 and the super big can pay 496.

Makes sense to me as when counting the payouts that I've seen so far for the bonus, it paid around 270 or so and I wasn't sure how many credits were in the machine prior to the payoff.

Thus far, I haven't hit the super big bonus...

Did you P.M. Lazarus ? for help on your older model ? Have you tried turn it upside down and look in and see where there might be a hang up ? That was a point I got in reading.
