Default What is the best stand for my Pachislo?

Hey, I dumped $278 and spent more than a day looking for a good stand for my new machine. Also looked online at various venders. Just couldn't decide from the online products and finally decided to get one locally.

Bought a gorgeous black/distressed look one for $237 at a local furniture store. Hauled it home and found that that the black finish chipped so easily it would never hold up to coin drops, liquor and beer spills, etc.

Got a solid oak stand for $278 next and had to drive 50 miles to return that black, chippable stand. The solid oak is nice, but there are other stands out there MUCH less expensive.

Target sells a variety of stands (see target.com and check out the "mudroom" products) for under $100.

Wish I'd seen the Target stands before spending so much money. My stand cost more than the machine. That just ain't right.

i've beefed up some tv stands with L brackets and they work great,

also bought a few 22.00 utility carts and 2 desks for about 28.00 each from walmart.com. they have very low cost shipping.

beefed those up with some L brackets too.

i've got 20 machines that needed stands, so didn't want to spend a forture on stands for them

the old way has a post on making a stand that holds 6 machines.

you use 2 24 inch inside doors, 1 32 inch inside door, 2 pieces of plywood 2 feet by 2 feet and angle brackets.

you use angle brackets to mount two plywood spacers between 24 inch doors and mount the 32 inch door flat on top.

total cost was around 100.00 for parts.

The Mudroom cabinet is an awesome choice! I couldn't find anything better and that price point ($70-$80) was pretty much cheaper too!

"Just Cabinets" located next to most Ollie's stores has an end table for $29.99 which fits one machine. It includes a drawer as well as a shelf. They come unfinished and unassembled but are no real problem to assemble. You can leave them unfinished or spend about 2 hours to finish depending on what you use.

I work at for a school district and I approached the industrial arts teacher with a picture of a stand I liked off of the net. He is going to assign one of his students to make me a pair of them, upside is that it will cost me nothing except maybe the wood but most likely not and they are going to use good wood too, some oak or cherry. The downside is that I have to wait forever for them because he is a stickler for perfection. But I think the price is worth it.

I would if I had them, like I said I have to wait for them. I did a google search and found one that I liked ( I hate to say this ) at SlotUSA here is the link:

Nice, simple, and if built right is should be sturdy.

I bought a Don Don King this evening and also bought two of Target's mudroom larger stands to hold the Cont X and the new Don Don.

The expensive stand referenced at the top of this thread IS going back, even if it ticks off the small town folks at the furniture store.

Hey, when you upgrade, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Default Inexpensive and attractive black Stand for Pachislo machines

:smt039 I looked and looked and found that the most economical solution for our three Pachislos were found at our local Office Depot. In their furniture dept., you'll find an "Audio Video Cart" by F-U-S-I-O-N , part # 93326 which when I read the assembly instructions on two of the units, it said, "manufactured by Bush Industries. It is knock down furniture with a black finish and caster wheels. The dimensions are perfect. It stands 32 7/8" tall; 23 5/8" wide and 15 1/2" deep. The 1st shelf below the top is stationery with a 7 1/2" opening. The 2nd shelf is adjustable in the 20 1/4" opening. The best part is the price. It's priced at exactly $34.00 each. The load weight was not shown on the carton so I first bought just one unit. The assembly manual states: "This product is designed and intended for televisions weighing 50 pounds or less. Installing larger or heavier televisions could cause instability, product collapse, tip over, and/or serious injury." I set an Olympia "Twist" Pachislo on the unit and it looked like it was made for it. Played with it for a week; rolled it around the room a couple of times (very carefully) and all is well. I just bought 2 more this past weekend (1/22/05) and the other two now look great with the first machine. I'm a happy camper. The rest is up to you!

I got a set of these 4' tables which are a good fit at two machines each. I have them set at the lowest height of 28.5 inches which works well for my wife at 4' 10".

    https://www.sevilleclassics.com/4-ft...orktables.html

Prices went up like everything else these days.

I know it’s been a few years but any recommendations for a stand for 1 or 2 machines? I bought 3 the other day that didn’t work. Easy fix for 2 of them I might keep
