what I did today

My buddy drooped off his 70's Nishijin for me to clean and go over for him today.

He has not played the thing for 8 or 9 years and it has sat in his dad's garage the whole time.

I stripped the thing down and went through a roll of towels, and 100 or so Q-tips. It was cleaner than i thought so it went very quick. I re soldered all the connections and hooked up a wall wart for the lights. Then I tested it for about 2 hours to make sure everything is in working order.

I wish I had money to get more of these for myself as I find the cleaning and rebuilding relaxing and fun

Yesterday I went with a good friend to the animal shelter and picked up the cutest dog for her and after I got home the guy that owns the pachinko and I rebuilt a custom shop Jackson RR1 guitar.

today I also fixed a computer for a Friend.

Tomorrow, we will just have to wait and see...

I will get pics of the doggy one of these days and will see if Chuck can get me a pic of the guitar but until then here is a pick of one I Own that looks just like it and a pic of my two favorite guitars, my 1976 B.C. Rich Mockingbird deluxe and 1983 B.C. Rich Bich. 3 and 4 are of my out of a Poison video B.C. Rich Virgin bass and my 8 string and 12 string basses and the last is a purple guitar just for you Hanabi.
