I think it really captures the "cartoony" feel of the show. I can't wait!

I hope they have stayed true to the orignal animated series!

How great a super spy was Speed when he and everyone else couldn't figure out why Racer X still wears the Mifune emblem on his shirt? It's on the hood of his car for darn sake! (Speeds name in Japanese : Go Mifune That's why he has the 'G' on his chest and the M on his car - Mifune Racing)

Yes, back in the 50's when the show was in black and white, they computer generated those bullets but they couldn't computer generate the gun.

I was a bit old for Speed Racer when it came out, but that doesn't mean I didn't watch it. I wondered why everyone spoke in short choppy sentences. I do remember though, getting of the bus and running home to watch Sea Hunt
