Well...not SO big I bought "Rock Band" for the kids for Christmas I paid a little more than I should, but I figured I saved myself a bunch of aggravation by getting it this way!

Rock Band guitars are failing right and left. Looks like those crazy Chinese thought that it would take too long to tighted up two critical screws inside the guitar. Silly people...

Anyway, Harmonix will replace the guitar for free, or in about 2 minutes you can fix it yourself without voiding the warranty thanks to a You Tube video.

Oh NO! I just received a notification from my Seller that the release date on Rock Band PS2 has changed and will probably not be available for Christmas delivery and even further that his supplier had to cancel his orders for some reason. OUCH! He is going to issue a full refund, but that kinda messes up my Christmas gift for the kids.

I have to say that communication has been great. I asked him yesterday if he had heard about a delay since I saw listings on eBay yesterday that had a different date than when I ordered mine. He got back to me promptly after looking into it and said it had indeed changed and that Christmas delivery could not be guaranteed. He gave me the oppotunity to opt out then, which I didn't... my kids are older and could have understood a few days delay. But today, all that ordered from him got a long, sincere letter to explain what was going on... and asked for fairness in the feedback. I will leave positive feedback as it seems things happened that were not of his control. Of course, that is after I see a refund to my Paypal account

I agree that is the best way, but I also knew when I made my purchase that it was a pre-order. I just don't understand why it wasn't released on the 11th when it was supposed to be. Companies shouldn't do things like that just before Christmas, but I guess it was a tough call for them to make also, I can't imagine it was done intentionally... perhaps it has to do with the faulty guitars.
