Speaker Connectors for Sammy Rescue Dog

I am getting ready to adjust the insanely loud volume on my Sammy Rescue Dog machine. However, I'd rather build a wiring harness to plug in between the speakers than cut any wires. Does anyone have any idea what sort of connectors are used for speakers in Sammy machines, and where I might buy them?

I assume you don't want to cut the wires and solder in the volume controllers so you can easily remove them later on?? If that's the case, you're better off cutting the wire and soldering on your own connectors that can either jumper together directly (control removed) or allow you to insert a harness that has the volume controller. I've found that in general, it's hard to find connector matches - there are a million different kinds, brands etc and ordering is a pain.

Yeah, exactly. I did not want to cut the wires. However, I'm pretty sure thats what is going to need to happen as finding the exact connector without a "connector store" is next to impossible. I've been able to find connectors that look similar from mouser, but am not 100% sure they are the same.

never mind, I thought we were talking sammy slots. Those you could get real cheap. Pachinkos are a different story.

Buying connectors sucks. Especially if you have to specify the pins separate from the housing. It's a nightmare...you inevitably end up buying something wrong.

If you cut the wires and use some nice heat shrink tubing it'll look really clean.
