Just a brief note to say that Dave is truly a man of his words!

I recently purchased a Star Wars, a Ferrari and a Sakura pachinko. I wanted emulators with cards that matched the theme of the machine. Dave did an absolutely AMAZING job.

Everyone here has been wonderful since I've joined this community; however, Dave was absolutely fantastic. Perfect customer service, etc., etc... Above and beyond...

I'm so busy with work that I won't be able to even install these emulators until this coming weekend, but, I'm certain they will work perfectly.

The amount of work that Dave put into the cards alone is wonderful.

What no pics of the cards!

The card designs can all be seen on my website.

I already had a few designs for Starwars, but Ferrari is such a new machine that I hadn't got round to working on any designs when Eric wanted to buy some. A quick look round the web for some photos of the Ferrari bonnet and side wing emblems, and a few minutes with the Gimp sorted them out quite quickly.

Sakura was a bit harder and probably took the longest of all the designs I've worked on.

There are a few desktop wallpaper images available from the Nishijin downloads page, but they are all have dark backgrounds and the card artwork needs an area of white background to cover the part of the card behind the chip contacts where there will be print dropouts.

The solution was to take one of the images as the background and resize and reposition it so that the waterfall covered the dropout area. Then to use the cherry blossom tree, cut out from the foreground of another image, to complete the artwork design.

I quite like the final result, it's not perfect when it's printed, as you can still see that there is a dropout in the image, but it's pretty well camoflaged and you have to look for it.
