i just got back from local skill stop place,

i did a 10.00 match play on a nickel machine,

hit one of the smaller jackpots for a little over 1,000 nickel credits,

i wound up with over 200 plays and a 50.00 visa gift card.

my buddy lost his 10.00 match play :-(

i did lose 22.00 at the dog track today

The dog track, now that was my Dad's passion. I still have his formulas for beating the track. It was his primary hobby till the day he passed on. He used to have track programs sent in to him and one day would have the previous days results. He would work on that and I'd write his formulas into the computer so he could do quick and accurate testing. I've never tried them...

in the first and second race some of the dogs collided on the first turn,

in the third race a dog stunbled and fell, but did finish last.

it's hard to figure that on any betting system :-(

You're right, no system would account for those types of mishaps. It's been almost 14 years now since I've looked at that system but it wasn't on betting every race but picking which races to bet on of the days offerings. It's just been too long to remember it.

I believe they are Cherry Master games.

Follow this link to Eagle Distributing:

    http://www.eagle-distributing.com/versions/

My advice on playing these slots: If you find one that is paying out, play it for all it's worth. If you come back the next day, you may find the game no longer pays worth a flip. It is because these games can be reset by the operators by simply sliding a few dip switches. Payout can be set to as little as 50%. As far as I know, there are few, if any, laws in Florida regulating the minimum payout of these "amusement" games.

These games usually dispense tickets rather than cash. Tickets are then redeemed for gift cards or gas (a lot of these games can be found at truck stops).

    that's the machines all right.

last week my buddy and i played two machines, he kept getting bonus rounds, i got none.

friday we played the same machines, but switched, he played the one i had lost on and won 25.00 visa with some bonus rounds.

the machine that paid out the week before took my money and i never got one bonus round :-(

they dispense tickets when you quit, but the attendant does that.

    Luckydog,

This may shock you, but some versions of cherry master games can be set to NEVER payout the maximum jackpot or advertised progressive amount.

How's that for a house edge?

How can they do that? Well, these are "amusement games" to be played for fun only. So, just for the fun of it, the operators can show pie in the sky jackpots to add to the excitement of just playing for the fun of it. They reason that amusement game jackpots are just window dressing and that all the people playing them are doing so just for fun (whatever the odds) and since no real money changes hands their rear ends are covered.

well just before christmas i hit three 8's while in the bonus round and it paid full jackpot 2,400 nickel credits,

the attendants seemed surprised i won so much in such a short time.

the next week i went there and won an 800 nickel jackpot.

each of the last two weeks i lost my 10.00 fast.

    Luckydog,

I wasn't saying that everyone who runs Cherry Master games would turn to the Dark Side. Your favorite haunt may be run by great people who are willing to deliver on everything they promise.

I am simply stating that unregulated games used for gambling purposes offer little or no protection to the player. If Guido is your friend, then play on!!!
