As are most of us, hence the simple, non detailed replies. None of us wants to admit goin through the same thing with our first machine. :smt025

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

My wife asked the same thing about taking it back after showing her the Target Mudroom tables. Am still considering whether to do so. I live in a small town of ~2000 and bought it from the locally owned furniture store. Makes it more difficult to return things a times. If this were purchased at a major chain, I'd be more likely to return it... :-?

The stand is very nice, btw. Rock solid and good piece of furniture. Even has a swivel top on it, although I've fixed the swivel to be stationary. It was originally designed to hold a TV and the vcr, dvd, satellite stuff below in cupboards.

Since I don't live in a small town, I really can't relate to that issue, but think about this. You're not going to stop with just this one machine. When you get your 2nd, 3rd, 35th you're going to want them at the same heights on similar stands. Now you know you're not going make this purchase again and will opt for the mudroom table or something similar for the next one. Why wait and have two different styles?

    Just food for thought.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Here's a pic of the stand. Once I get my next machines, I can always use this stand for a TV or something. It's still a pretty nice unit! Lots of room for coins, drinks, etc.

Actually, I DID take the stand in the picture above back and got the Target stands. Heck, with the addiction, you just gotta have the matching tables and they have to be priced reasonably enough that you can afford the machines.

Getting back to topic, the sound from my two machines is WAY too loud even though I thought it could be lived with. Am going to install L-pads in them both (DDK and Cont 4x). Think the way to go is the 15W L-pads from: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=260-251

I got 2 more as well and they are due in tomorrow. I usually do the L-Pad and will probably change my Batman Pachinko from a Radio Shack Pot to the L-Pad. Pot's are way to sensitive with limited range. The other is going on my Giga Fever due in Monday.

very nice, I thought you were in the same elevator as my wife and me when I farth forth, two children needed oxygen given to them, and my wife had that look. She kept it for a week. She feeds me bean-o everyday, so i am safe around by little children and others
