    Question Lock & Key

    Hi All!

I have a Street Fighter 2 Pachislo which has decided that it no longer wants to open with the key. I have been able to get in it through the bottom as per norm...

The question is, has anyone got a spare lock cylinder and key for this machine :questionm- willing to pay for the part!

    Thanks!

The question is why would it just stop working? maybe the tabs that the door locks on to need to be adjusted toward you. that way its a little looser. I have had this happen to a few of my games.

does the lock turn with the key? open the door and try it and watch the back of the lock . it just may need to be aligned and tightened .

The connection to the inside is tight! The key will not turn the cylinder anymore - it is like I am using the wrong key (i am not of course!)

    Thanks!

I wasn't going to post today, bu a quote from the infamous Arby::
These round cyclinder locks are staked around the neck, these need to be drill out shallow tho. and the whole lock assy. will pull out. dump the pins and wafers and springs. while out fit a blank round key to fit the center post, it has two legs, these need to be nached in the blank key. this is so you can turn the lock.

once done, epoxey glue the nech housing back in place, be carful to not glue the center post to the housing. or the lock is shot. mack sure you line up how it was before you drilled the stakes out. Slow and easy the first time. once you do one and see how it goes, you can do the rest blind folled. any lock shop should have the blank round key (Vend lock keys) take a lock with you to make sure the center hole is the same, they would fit tight, a little sand paper in there loosens them up.
