    Lightbulb Settings change...

Hi there.. im from Mexico... and i have 5 of this pachislos machines...i am a big fan of any kind of electronic game... and i love the modding all my consoles and toys... searching the web i havent found many mods for the pachislos that involve the electronic part, im not interested in use real money by the way...i only found one thread (here in pachitalk), where u write a little about the pachislos microchip... im very curious of what more this machines do can do. Does any body have more information about the LE2080A-PA and LE4280B-PA micros.. i am trying to read the original chip to find a substitute so maybe we can be able to change somo of the instructions of the pachislo... but its hard whit out the correct pin configuration of the micros.. well i hope that somebody here could help me in this quest...

Daverob will be along shortly. he'll be the master at that. but you will find that the programing is proprietary and is just about impossible to break.

Is that like using your dog's nose for testing 9v batteries.

Warning! - Don't try this at home! Not even seasoned professionals would try this!

researching i found th features of the v4 and v2 chips..:
    LE2080A-PA
    · PKV2 is an 8Bit MCU. CPU instruction system is Z80 compatible, also contains WATCH-DOG TIMER (WDT ) , the timer (CTC ), IO unit(PTO) , peripheral circuit controllers
    · Built-in Flash ROM 16K BYTEs (Apple&Banana )
    · Built-in SRAM 512 BYTE
    · Built-in SRAM data protection on power off
    · Timer (ZILOG Company CTC compatible)
    · Input and output the controller (ZILOG Company PIO compatible)
    · WATCH-DOG TIMER ( WDT)
    · CHIP SELECT signal drive the outside slave device (Max 4)
    · NONMASKABLE INTERUPT (XNMI is input)
    · MASKABLE INTERUPT (XNMI is input
    · Inside SYSTEM CLOCK frequency: 6.0MHZ (when outside CLOCK is 12.0MHz)

your a bit beyond most people with that question .Most people here are barely able to push the buttons to activate the spin sequence and you want boulian algebra and logic theory ...if you find a way to modify the machine post it most would love the chance to modify their music or theme in their machine but have failed up to this point as most manufacturers are proprietary in their designs.
