It's interesting that the lower spec. PJ was the popular model in Japan, and comparatively few TJ's were made. I'm glad that their unwanted were the ones to be exported.

Ahh...ok I've seen Trance Time a few times. I may have hit a fever once in that mode.

Good luck in your search Bojinx, have you tried Samuraislots? I got mine from them last Winter.

    I want a flag!!!

Yeah, samuraislots is one of my daily stops.

Someone will have one for sale eventually. I'm sure I'll find one. Any leads tossed my way are (and will be) greatly appreciated though.

Well the "Total Turnover Reach" must have been a sign of things to come. A kid was playing the machine today and hit 7 fevers in a row. A number of different animations popped up as well.

Final tally - 12 fevers in a row before going back to the regular Locomotion song.

I like the Venus track too.

A couple of the fevers I hit during this massive payout period played a medley of all the songs. I just sat back, didn't shoot any balls and watched/listened.

They just came in the latest container from what Curt told me. I was thinking of getting this when I saw it! (STILL have to finish up my flooded basement and get the other 7 machines first though!) Having lived through disco having to dance through it, it looks like a fun and amusing pachi! As they say Nigh on FIRE and then hearing Smile DKs Butterfly looks AWESOME! Use it well!

Not sure off hand. But judging by the text The output board to the counter is located top right with the 5 small relays on it and the 10 pin socket. Getting something to match that socket might be a little tricky.

Many thanks for your reply. Would a counter, specific to this machine, be worth looking for or are they virtually impossible to find?

Unforturatly not. Machine/frames of this era all had different sockets, the parlout would have different looms to connect it to the counters they were using. Pretty much all counters have the same style wiring plugs on them. a 10way IDE connector might fit the pin spacing, but not clip in.

Thanks again. Would it be possible from the picture to identify what part of the loom controls just the counter rather than the parlours other wiring. All wires have identity tags but my Japanese is rusty (none existent!). I could take more pictures if it would help.

For a bog standard counter need 4 pairs of wires.
    1) power 24vac normally yellow and red (might be brown cause my colour vision sucks)
    2) Start pocket/reel spins スタート
    3) jackpot/ootari 大当たり
    4) high probability mode (always forget the japanese name)

As you have switched relay output the loom on the counter normally has a blue tag on it. Might also have characters similar to 入力
