Greetings everyone. I'm pretty new to the scene, but I wanted to drop an introduction thread before I started asking a million and one questions. I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but since my main interest right now is Maharaja by Heiwa, I figured I'd put it in the pachinko area.

Now for a little about me. I'm a 31yr old husband and father of two boys (ages 7&4.) I live on Maryland's Eastern Shore and work at Dover Downs Casino as a Slot Technician for Spielo (a game vendor.) I'm a video game fanatic with WoW being my current game of choice. I'm a music junkie and I'm a fan of anime and most things of asian influence. Since I've learned about pachinko/pachislo games I see them as a perfect way to merge the casino atmosphere with at-home gaming and my love of Japanese pop-culture.

I don't currently own any games, but I'm sure it won't take me long before I stumble on something to make me open my wallet. So far I like the looks of Super Cutie Honey, Star Wars, Rocky, and especially... Maharaja.

I have not seen this game in person, but it has captivated me. If anyone knows of one for sale, I'd love to make it my first pachinko.

Well, I have a lot of research to do. I just wanted to say hello.

I think you might be referring to Chrisdice. If so, we work at the same track for different vendors. He's a tech for Ballys while I work for Spielo. He's also the one who suggested I join here and the one who introduced me to the scene.

As for the the research center and museum on this site, I plan on putting a lot of time in there.

I have a Star Wars, a Maharaja and a Mizuho machine like the Cutie Honey with the huge LCD (completely different theme though). It's very close, but personally I think the Maharaja just squeezes past the Star Wars.

I haven't seen a Maharaja for sale in any of the usual places for a while now. Star Wars, Cutie Honey and Rocky are still readily available from most vendors.
