Fedex was wanting like 120 to ship a slot for me, I just laughed at them. I dont have a DHL center around here to knw, but i dont trust them either. Not yet at least. No way cna i wood crate a machine, damn things are too heavvy already. My shipping would skyrocket. Where do you get wood to do that anyway?

UPS agreed to come pick up the machine I complained to them about. They said they will inspect it at their service center and then send it back to the shipper. I am wondering if I should let them do this. My game is fixable (wood pieces especially), and it works, even as is. However, whose to say that the next one I get will be any better. Have any of you gone that route and let them take the machine back?

Also, I received another machine today from UPS that was a completely separate purchase from a completely different place. As soon as I moved the box, I knew it was damaged. I heard balls everywhere. I opened it, pulled the machine out and guess what, the legs were cracked AND the hinge on the top right of the machine that lets you open the machine from the frame was broke. How do you break that? The pin that holds the two pieces of the hinge together was eventually found in the bottom of the box. I am not even going to complain about this one to the morons. I know one thing, UPS has lost a customer for sure.

Yeah you gotta complain, UPS is doing a half arse job in my opinion. Sometimes these problems cant be helped, but there have been waaay to many of them lately. I think they are just tossing them and shoving them whenever and wherever they want! Tokens triple bagged and then tapped up shouldnt be breaking open in a padded box!

I have had five pachis delivered via fedex.
four from Milt, arrived in perfect shape.
one from SlotUSA and it was a jigsaw puzzle inside and one corner molding snapped off. All the boards popped back in place.
I haven't had a ups deliver one yet soooo..... :smt102

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

We have started using FED EX since Feb. and not 1 damage! They are excellent to use. In the past we used ups and every other machine was either broken or tokens every where! It was a nightmare. We use FedEx and typically the rates are $30 to $45 per machine + our cost of new box and special foam ($22). The other part of it is if you are using the proper packaging materials. All of our materials are tested by FED EX and approved. Any damage claim ever comes up, a credit is sent automatically since we have approved shipping cartons. We also use a power stapler to close the boxes (NO TAPE!) These boxes are almost locked until you rip them open.
