Default How to Convert from Token to Coin.

I called the 1-800 number in my manual and they claim that they do not know how to convert the machines from token to coin. When I bought my machine, the stock guy in the store told me to call the 1-800 and they would tell me how to do it. I've looked around on the web and can't find anything on how to do it. The only thing I found was a site that said if you buy your machine from them, they will email you how to do it and that it only takes 5 minutes. Can anyone tell me how to do this or are you not allowed to post this in the forum? Thanks in advance.

I still have a problem with the piggy bank concept.
    1) Put in life savings of quarters (ok kinda like a bank without the checking account)
    2) You get to play with your money (again like a bank but you get to play with the money instead of them)
    3) Your friends get to come over and add their quarters to the pot. ( Like earning interest from a bank, or like xmas or a bday without the card)
    4) Your friends hit the big bonus (The bank gets robbed, no FDIC insurance, You lose your life savings of quarters)

Ummmm, I think I will stick with tokens. Not to mention that the amount of quarters that is needed to make it worthwhile is enough to buy another machine.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

you dont give your quarters to your friends, unless you want to. My Race Queen was chock full of them. Probalby had $200 bucks in it and people played it all the time, and never took any money out of it.

Davis, were they playing with your quarters or theirs? If you're going to let them play with your and not take their money, why not just use tokens? If they're going to play with theirs, do they not take what they win?

Even though I will never convert my current Pachislos to quarters (but my Babel takes both for some reason) I can understand the liking to use them. They do feel good going into my Computer Pachinko plus I guess if you run quarters thru your Pachislo at home and lose then it would be better than going to a US casino and losing as at least you get to keep your own money.

my quarters Tulsa. For one I used it as piggy bank. If I wanted to play I just filled the cup up twoth quarters from the hopper, and did the same if they wanted to play. I didnt want to mix the quarters and tokens so I only kept quarters in it. Everytime I had a quarter in my pocket i would toss it in, it wasnt max bet so that was nice. It really does make a nice piggy bank. When I emptied it I had enough to buy the Fire Express!!

Ok so now what do you do? you got the Fire Express most likely with 500 tokens, and now the other machine sits there empty? or do you fill it back up with quarters or is it tokens for it now so you can still play it?

It may be a good idea but won't it take awhile to build up?
what if you hit a bonus and you only have 25 quarters in it? Do you keep feeding those 25 back in or reset? I would be torn between the two.

I would just set it at the hardest level and if I emptied the hopper of just 25 quarters I would just put them back in the machine. Easy.

I sold it after I emptied it out and bought th fire express. I see what you mean, but i dont play the machine severy night so if it has 25 quarters in it, its not a big deal. I know you guys dont like the idea of quarters, im just saying thats how I did it!
