That's great, Gary! I'd put that in my room if could get it, but no Spencer's Gifts around here. Will have to wait for my next Mall of America trip. Think I'll point that one to the bathroom. :-P

I paid $35 each with shipping for some neons I liked on eBay and even though overpaid am happy with them. But, living here in a rural area, sometimes not much choice if you want something quickly.

Neon lights are so much less expensive than they were just several years back. :-?

I'm not a gambler, but I like to visit casinos on a regular basis. I don't even put penny into the slot machines.
Every trip to the casinos in Biloxi is to conduct due diligence about new slot machines with respect to popularity, technology, and eye candy.
A friend of mine told me that he bought slot machine (pachislo) from Treasure Bay Casino Resort gift shop. He paid $599.99 + tax for the "Fireworks" pachislo.
Well, I made a trip to Treasure Bay Casino Resort last Sunday to see about the pachislos in the gift shop. There they are, sitting on the counter top:

    MS Gundam $599.99

    Thunder V II $599.99

    Viva Rival $599.99

    Time Cross $649.99

The machines look like it came from Grand View Products AKA pachinko_pallace, laminated cabinet, nicely polished chrome with used tokens.
The lady let me play the Gundam with 50 credits in it. Told her thanks to let me play with the machine. I didn't even ask her about the price or anything else.
I just keep thinking to myself that is a rip-off. I'm glad that I found Pachitalk.com and empower myself with pachislos knowledge.

BTW, Treasure Bay Casino Resort is the ONLY casino that has pachislos for sale along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

wonder how many they sell, and a heck of a profit margin there.

Grandview sells to Costco and others, too. They seem to sell their less popular machines to the uninformed retail customers and save their better machines for ebay where they get more money. Also, I think they make VERY sure that the retail machines in the store are super clean and in super good shape to command top buck.

(Hey, I started my addiction with a Costco machine and it was in fantastic shape!)

    Nothing wrong with that...

    Slotter-

What do the Costco machines go for. There's a couple Costco's near me but because of membership I don't go to them. My mom has a membership, maybe I should go with her some time to check it out?

I've always wanted a slot machine. But, with laws as they are and prices as they are never got one. Anyhow, walked into Costco and there was a slot for $250. (A conti 4x) and it was perfect for me... I could finally have a slot!

Am not sorry about the purchase, but with education here, could have saved money and probably would have bought a different machine.

That said, without the initial purchase I'd not be here.

Well went today and what do you know...it disappeared! Gone with the wind...im still wondering if someone bought it or if the cops took it? Cause i believe they are illegal here in hawaii...even though Ultra Zone had about 20 of them!
First of all, do you live in Hawaii? I am curious, because hypothetically, I heard of this dude who took a hypothetical trip to Hawaii with his wife. They both packed a box as their luggage and paid the extra $25 each for the overweight and carried on their other luggage ... hypothetically that is.

Anyway, this hypothetical couple ended up doubling the money, hypothetically on the two hypothetical machines they took, and were able to hypothetically pay for part of the trip.

Of course, they hypothetically set up the sales in Maui in advance, but that is just what I hypothetically heard.

Could be an urban myth. ~spooner

Seriously! I wish they really existed. I heard that they had a hypothetical deal set up with 4 machines that would, hypothetically, pay for the entire trip, even after the overweight airfare fees ... but then again, this is all just hypothetical ... right? ~spooner

Oh yeah ... I meant to mention that I can provide all the non-functioning machines anyone wants. All I would have to do is remove a fuse here and there ... right? ~spooner

Sam's Club offer pachislo. I did a multiple zip search in various states.

    Couldn't find any available.

Man, if Wal-Mart start selling pachislo, what's gonna happen to the "BIG" 3
    importers?

If Wal-Mart gets involved, the big importers will suffer, especially on the standard models. The Premiums, I don't think will be what Wal-Mart would sell. I wouldn't foresee them selling the $1200 Harleys! :-) :-)

You'd think that all they'd go for is the cheapest ones...and that could be GOOD for the hobby, really...people find a pachislo at wally world, they go home, research it online, find pachitalk, and VOILA! Our member base soars! Get the machines out in the public eye, let them be curious and get INFORMED! (ya, I'm an optimist at the moment.....)

If Wal-Mart got invoved seriously with Pachislo, it would be good for the consumers. The Big importers couldn't compete on lesser models. Wal-Mart wouls undercut them, plus their easy return policy makes it a Wally slam dunk (it breaks or you don't like it-take it back)...if they get involved? :-)

Spencer Gifts in Indianapolis seems to be having trouble selling pachislos. They've had a Truck Driver (with English belly glass) on the floor for months. They've just marked it down to $199. As far as I know that's the only machine they've had. Of course I could be wrong. They could have sold dozens of pachislos, as long as they were all Truck Drivers, but then why would they be marking it down?

While there I bought a motorcycle neon light for $20. Looks great sitting on top of my Exhaust.

advertisedI grew up in Galveston, TX back when gambling was legal and developed my love for slot machines then. I always wanted one of my own, but gambling was "outlawed" in the '50s, the machines disapeared but never my love for them.

Then about 6 or 7 years ago a pawn shop (Blake Street Pawn) here in Arkansas advertised slots for $375 to $475. I checked them out, my first encounter with Pachislo, and bought a Wai Wai Pulssar for $375 with 200 tokens delivered.

I added a 1930 era Mills Castle Front nickle machine and an Evans Galloping Dominos nickle machine in 1999.

About 2 years aago I bought my second Passchislo from the same pawn shop (King Jack) for $250. WAY too much money for either machine, but pennies compared to the two antique nickle machines!

Just a couple weeks ago I discovered Pachitalk through an e-bay listing by Milt when he posted a review of the King Camel. Won a KC from Pachinko-Pallace and am waiting for delivery of a Neo Magic Pulsar from Milt now.

I have gotten more education from this board in a couple of weeks than I ever had in 6 years of just looking around. I just wish I had discovered Pachitalk much sooner!

Thank you, thank you for being here!

I did see a bunch of Paschilos at a truck stop between Memphis and Little Rock on I 40 last year, but I was so sick at the time I just glanced at them. Can't tell you which ones but it seems price was around $250 to $350.
