    Default Retail Stores Selling Pachislos

Ok I am interested in hearing about any actual retail stores that are displaying Pachislos and/or Pachinkos for sale. Not mail order and not Costco (they are selling standard machines here in Phoenix/Mesa Arizona for 250.00)but actual stores that anyone can walk into and buy a Pachislo at retail prices.

Here in Arizona the one we have found so far is a store called "Trendz & Toys" @ Metrocenter mall (next to Sears). I say "we" but I haven't been there yet myself(my girlfriend found it) I hope to get there after the Christmas rush and report on it and what is there.

Anyone else have any retail stores in their areas ??

    Lew,

Those are my machines. I gave him a few to see how it goes. $199 for basic ones, $249 for some nicer ones. He sold a Gundam the other day. He expects some action this weekend.

I saw an ad on TV today for a local place (Cincinnati) called "Watsons". They sell swimming pools, spas, Pool tables, Game tables, etc..

The Ad showed a skill stop (couldn't see what model) and said "Slot Machines for $249".

If I am in the area sometime, I will check it out.

Here in Indianapolis Brenner's Luggage and Furniture Warehouse (I think that's the name) sell them. About $400 for something like a Babel. Most of the machines that the furniture store had weren't even that good, but in with the junk they did have a Hound Dog.

Our Watson's sold pachislos years ago. Back then they had dozens on display. But I haven't seen any there for at least a couple of years. I'll try to check this weekend.

We also don't have any at our Costco. Could be both Watson's and Costco are afraid to sell them in Indiana. While everyone seems to list Indiana as a pachislo-legal state, there is some question about that. Maybe their attorney's told them it wasn't worth the risk.

i just saw four more pahislos for sale in a small indoor flea market, 249.00 to 400.00.

bee kids was 249.00, golgo13 was 349.00, one rip off machine was 349.00 and i don't remember the fourth one but it was 449.00 reduced to 400.00.

they had tokens to play and a sign no one under 21 could play.

plus the mall has a store with at least a dozen all over 349.00

and the red barn flea market store has about 2 dozen for sale, all over 249.99

I would think that kind of store would be a natural for locating Pachislos on a commission basis.

They have a small chain of discount stores in NE PA called Ollie's. They have had a few of them near the checkout lines for $200. They had O Hanabi, Del Sol, and Gran Ciel. They give you 200 tokens, pitted chrome, an unpainted cabinet, and smoke residue for free!

Looks like someone raided SlotUSA's dumpster.

We have a small Comic Book/ Gaming store here in Grove City that the owner and myself took a trip to Milts and picked up 8 machines to give it a try in the store. Prices ranging from 200 (basic machine) to 350 (neo planet, azteca legend) . Always have tokens on hand to let the customers try them out. Sold three so far in the last month or so. Not too bad for no advertising and a small town.
There is a Vacuum store south of us in a much larger town, and the last time I was down there he had about 20 machines priced from 350 (basic machine) and up. This is where I saw the gigafever that he won't let anyone play with. That was the only newer machine I saw there. most of the others were older or ones that we saw on ebay last spring. He says he sells a bunch of them, but evrytime I stop in, it looks like the same machines are there.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.
